Our proud history• The Redan Football Netball Club (RFNC) has a proud and rich history

beginning in the early 1870’s. Since that time it has continuously operated as a sporting club serving people from Ballarat and the surrounding regions.

• On ten occasions Redan has celebrated as premiers of the Ballarat Football League. Back-to-back premierships in 2002 and 2003 and again in 2006 & 2007 rival the halcyon days of three consecutive premierships in 1975, 1976 and 1977. Played in 6 of the last 8 premierships.

• Our successes / survival in recent years are even more satisfying when considered against the traumatic events of the late 1990’s when our proud club all but ceased to exist. The generous support of our sponsors and the wider community, coupled with the tireless efforts of loyal and dedicated committee, members and ex and current playing groups gave us the opportunity. We are again roaring and a force to be reckoned with.


Our Exciting Future• The financial position of our club relies heavily on the support of our

sponsorship base and is the key component in ensuring the on-going financial viability of our club.

• The 2011 Board of Directors has a balanced blend of past Board members, existing club members, and newcomers.

• The Redan Football Netball Club is committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment that our members and our sponsors will be drawn to and enjoy being involved in.

• Our vision is to retain and build the ‘whole of family’ involvement in all aspects of our club, while at all time pursuing sporting excellence.
