Introduction

Based in New York, Ryan Hoadley is a hedge fund analyst who covers a variety of business sectors, from consumer and retail to automotive. A business graduate of the University of Michigan, Ryan Hoadley is a fan of the university's Wolverines football and basketball teams.

The centennial season for the Wolverines men’s basketball team had its ups and downs. Early on, the team lost to injury two of its senior leaders Spike Albrecht and Caris LeVert. Under coach John Beilein, the team’s offense was heavily reliant on perimeter shooting, which worked well in many situations. However, there were high-profile failures such as a Big Ten tournament game against Northwestern in which guard Derrick Walton, Jr. missed seven long-range attempts. This nearly led to a loss against Northwestern.
