Final Task- Script

• 1st Scene: Shot: Long shot through the bedroom window. Description: A car pulls into the driveway and the camera is already set up

at the window to catch it driving in to the outside of the house. Angle: Through the window, so perhaps a framing shot.• 2nd Shot:Shot: medium establishing shot of the girl coming through the front door.Description: The camera is placed on the inside of the front door, and sees

the girl walking into the house and putting her things down on the floor then walking up the stairs.

• 3rd Shot:Shot: Camera sees the girl now walking up the stairs, and sees her full body. Description: Then the girl walks past the camera which is on the landing

then begins to walk up the other set of stairs in front of her, then it cuts to the 4th shot.

• 4th ShotShot: Full body shot of the girl walking up the stairs, face forward. Description: Sees the girl as she looks ahead past the camera walking up

the stairs the camera the follows her as much as it can before she turns a corner.

• 5th ShotShot: Walking down the hall towards the bedroom. Description: Camera sees the girl walking down the corridor, then zooms in

as she gets closer.• 6th ShotShot: From the inside, the camera will be at long shot capturing the girl

walking into the door and walking to the right into the bathroom. The camera will be at an angle so it can capture her walking into the bathroom and turning on the bath and walking out again, rather than cutting.

Description: Girl walks into the bed room and walks towards the en suit bathroom, when she enters the bathroom she leans forward, puts the plug in the bath and screws the taps, turning them on. She walks out the bathroom into the bedroom again. This is filmed all in one take.

• 7th ShotShot: Medium shot of just the bed before the girl goes to sit down on it. Description: At first in the shot you only see the bed, then the girl walks into

the scene and lies down on the bed face down, and picks up a magazine to read it. Then there is diegetic sound in the scene from above her, where the attic is. The girl looks curiously up at the ceiling suspecting what it above her.

• 8th ShotShot: Close up of the magazine, as it flickers and there’s no windows open or

fans on. Description: The girl is just looking at the magazine, then it suddenly flickers

all its pages. The girl stands up to go shut the window. As she walks to the bathroom the magazine does it on it’s own this time but this time she doesn’t notice it flickering. Then the shot cuts to bath with the water rushing out of the tap rapidly.

• 9th shot:Shot: point of viewDescription: she keeps hearing noises so she looks up at the ceiling, then gets

up off the bed and starts to walk out of the room. Then there’s a transition into the hallway. The girl goes to pull down the ladder to the attic.

• 10th shot:Shot: high angle shotDescription: the camera is placed at the top of the attic stairs as she pulls

down the ladder.• 11th shot:Shot: low angle shotDescription: you then see the girl walking up to the top from the bottom of

her feet walking up.• 12th shot:Shot: wide shot Description: you see the whole of the attic then the camera focuses on one

room in the attic. • 13th shotShot: over the shoulderDescription: You see from over the girls shoulder walk towards the room at

the back with the light.

• 14th shotDescription: before the girl gets to the room the camera sees a figure by a

candle light then another figure runs in front of the candle and it goes out. The scene cuts with a scream and credits come in.
