Spring is here! The Jackson County Master Gardener Association is gearing up
for its huge 35th annual Spring Garden Fair, taking place from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Saturday, May 3 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at the
Jackson County Expo Center. The large, indoor Compton Arena will once
again come alive for attendees with a wide variety of plants, gardening prod-
ucts, and gardening classes on both days. The Spring Garden Fair is the larg-
est gardening event between Portland and San Francisco, and is the premier
gardening event in the
Rogue Valley that signals
the beginning of the
summer gardening sea-
son. JCMGA partners
with growers, artisans,
and organizations
throughout the sate of
Oregon and Northern
California. Admission is
$3 per person, and chil-
dren under 15 are free.
Free parking is available.

Paint a Pot event that will go on Saturday, May 10th. It’s a great event to bring children too and they can paint a pot for Mom just in time for
Mother’s Day. It’s at all our store locations except Pet Country.

The Central Point Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo is part of the PRCA Columbia
Circuit and is presented by Peoples Bank of Commerce! Happening at The Expo over three evenings (Thurs, Fri, Sat), including bull riding,
saddle-bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, tie-
down roping and team roping.

first vintage Argentinian-style 2011 Malbec this Memorial Day Weekend at the
Artisan Corridor in Central Point. Toast with other Ledger David wines from
Latin varietals including the elegant 2011 Sangiovese and the bold award-
winning 2010 Tempranillo. Wines will be paired with a selection of complimen-
tary tapas. Plus, flamenco guitarist Grant Ruiz will perform live on Monday,
