• Shikha’s time in 50m FS was way off from her best time of 26.50 clocked at the Afro Asian Games in 2003. There has not been any improvement in her time since 2003!.

• Shikha’s 100m FS time of 58.09 was better than her Afro Asian Games time of 58.61.

• The best bet for qualifying for the Olympics are: Shikha with a différence of 0.55 secs and

0.92 secs in 50m and 100m FS respectively.

Sandeep with a difference of 0.64 secs and 01.14 secs in 100m and 200m breaststroke events.

Rehan has the best chance at qualifying in 200m Fly with a difference of 1.94 secs.

• Even though Rohit and Mandar are way away from the Olympic B time, they can still make it.

• Overall it was a mediocre event for Indians with just Rehan and Shikha clocking their best times in their respective events.
