About the Presentation

I joined Pinterest in March 2012 and as of 8 October, 2012 I have reached 1000 followers.

The purpose of this presentation is to share some of the things that I did to get that many followers in such a short period ot time.

1000 Followers

This is what 1000 followers on Pinterst looks like

There is no magic bullet!

Unless your a celebrity, it will take some effort!

I‘ll share some of the things that I have done

Share What Interests You!

Chances are that other people are interested in these things too!

Some people will follow you just because you‘ve pinned things that they like

Follow Others

Follow people that pin stuff you like. Many of them will follow you back.

If someone likes or repins one of your pins, think about following them.

People like to see that someone has followed them or one of their boards and some of them will follow you back

Repin and Like often

People like to see that they have been repinned or that their pins are liked.

This pin has been liked 85 times and repinned 197 times.

You don‘t always know what people will like.

Join Group Boards

When you look at the board above, the icon circled in red tells you that it is a group board.

Follow others in the group board
