Geocaching

• An outdoor game, where a GPS receiver is used to hide and seek containers known as “geocaches”

of the location with their GPS receiver

• They share this location with others, who will then go and ‘seek’ the item

• What do you do when you find it??

– Sign the logbook (initials, date)

– Trade items

– Place the cache back EXACTLY as you found it!

Other Geocaching Guidelines

• Do no trample ANY flowers/important plants

• Watch out for ‘muggles’ (non-geocachers)!

• Place the container back exactly as you found it
