Golf
We provide consultancy for all aspects of the golf industry from golf course development to marketing and operational advice on how to optimise golf resorts.
Our team has over a century of experience across a range of golf related developments.
We offer feasibility studies, business plan creation, marketing and operational consultancy, golf course environmental studies and advice, golf course design and project management.
Our team of senior advisers ensures our clients receive the most up to date advice on capital expenditure, budgeting, cash-flow, planning, policy, archaeology and ecological surveys.
Property Marketing
We operate a full service creative marketing business working across a wide range of sectors. We provide a mix of highly targeted and effective marketing tools to support the leasing, sales and general marketing process for residential, leisure and commercial developments.
Our main products include naming and branding, brochures, particulars, websites, signs, adverts, property PR and computer generated imagery (CGI).
Clients range from residential and commercial developers, hotel, golf and spa resorts including fractional ownership, housebuilders, architects, property agents and renewable power companies.
Working in partnership with clients, we aim to deliver to brief, on time and budget marketing materials that differentiate our clients properties through exceptional creativity and bright ideas.
Our Team
Stewart Smith MPGA – Professional Golfer
Stewart began his career in the golf industry as a player on the European Tour and then spent time coaching in Scandinavia, United Kingdom and the USA. After a number of Senior/Director of Golf roles in exclusive private member resorts and developing a golf retail offering, which he sold to American Golf, he was the Lead for Scottish Golf Tourism.
John Stirling – Finance
John is a chartered accountant and brings specialist financial experience to the team. He co-established KPMG’s practice in Turks and Caicos (Caribbean) where he advised clients and organisations on a range of areas including Financial Derivatives and Specialised Offshore Financial Investment vehicles. He brings critical thinking to project development and management. He is also Director of Storyteller Films; a film and finance company based in Los Angeles.
Joe Mitchell – Finance
Joe is a chartered accountant with a wide experience of business and finance. Having trained and worked for KPMG in Scotland and the Caribbean, in 1997 he left to re-purchase his family food business, where by acquisition and on-going expansion made the prestigious, Sunday Times Profit Track 100. The group was later sold to one of Europe’s largest food businesses, the 2 Sisters Food Group Ltd after Joe had driven the rise in annual turnover to more than £40 million.
Iain Stirling – Marketing
Iain runs Native – well respected for its marketing consultancy, creativity and digital solutions. With twenty years of experience working in senior global project management and marketing roles with Global PLC’s including Diageo, Volkswagon Group, Marks and Spencer and Jim Beam Brands. He brings a multi-sector, global skill-set to our client’s projects.
Iain serves on the Boards of Scottish North American Business Council, the Enlight Foundation and is the Founding Chairman of the US State Department’s Scottish International Visitor’s Program Alumni.
Audrey Ramsay – Communications
Audrey is a senior communications and brand strategist with extensive experience in the corporate sector engaging with global markets and stakeholders. She was Corporate Relations Director of Diageo Plc where she led an International trouble-shooting team across Europe, North America, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia. She brings a unique and practical insight to the strategic value of brand experience and approaches every project with customary creativity and flair.
David Stirling – Sales
David worked at KPMG before becoming a founding partner of Stirling Enterprises. Based in the USA, David brings energy and passion to his work, he is a specialist in creating and directing events and has worked with award-winning artists. More recently he is a founding owner of Highlands and Mary Queen of Scots; two acclaimed restaurants in New York City.
Martin Lambley – Creative
Martin is an award winning Creative Director with over 25 years of experience in the advertising and design business, both in London and in Edinburgh. He has won more than 70 major Natioal and International creative awards tackling every brief with enthusiasm and commitment. He has worked on national and international campaigns including Barclays Bank, Mitsubishi Motors, RBS, Olivetti, Minolta and Honda.
David Jenkins – Projects
David brings a wealth of commercial consulting and business administration experience from over 15 years in eCommerce, sport and the media including developing the world’s first loyalty scheme in sport, delivering the leading online golf improvement platform on the web with Severiano Ballesteros (www.SeveAcademy.com) and holding the Chief Executive post of the football industries preferred charity – Football Aid.

G3k Consulting provided a range of marketing and consultancy servicing for the development pre and post opening, building the brand ‘Elea’ and directing how it should be marketed.
We facilitated an all stakeholder workshop to establish the brand and provide all marketing materials from website, signage, direct mail, brochures, promotional DVD’s, CGI Imagery to managing events and the PR campaign.
Results:
Sold out the membership target number within three months of opening. A waiting list for membership is now established.
Established very healthy revenue numbers across all target markets – between 52% and 73% of annual revenue projections for this financial year with only two months having elapsed.
Retail figures are similarly ahead of budget, as are incremental food and beverage sales.
Evaluation of events marketing and implementation of new strategy to ensure continued success.
First five properties planned as a result of leads generated and converted due to the success of the property marketing.
Created opportunity for Elea to be marketed to the global golf industry at the Open at St Andrews.
