Inclusive Sport FundSet up by Sport England with £8m National Lottery Funding

Part of Places People Play imitative, bringing the magic of a

home Olympic and Paralympic Games to communities across

the country, creating a legacy of increased participation in sport

Designed to grow the number of disabled young people (aged

14+) and adults regularly playing sport

At present, only one in six disabled adults play sport regularly

Looking for INNOVATIVE, SCALABLE and REPLICABLE projects

Inclusive Sport FundThe programme has three key strands:

1. Working together to develop and improve sporting facilities

2. Supporting the workforce delivering sport

3. Provide opportunity and motivation to establish lifelong sporting habits

Inclusive Sport FundLed by the needs of disabled peopleRecognise there is not one homogenous groupBring together experts from both sport and disability sectorsParticipation by all disabled peopleInclusive and dedicated opportunitiesOpportunities that are not just accessible but are friendly,

welcoming, and effectively staffed.

Many projects and organisations already doing this, often driven by small groups of dedicated volunteers. The fund wants to support these projects, generate more of them, learn from them and link them together

Who can ApplyTo be eligible for Inclusive Sport funding you must:Be a bona fide and legitimate organisation with a written

constitutionTarget disabled people aged 14 years old and above with a

recognised sporting activity or physical activities that lead to recognised sport.

Propose new activities that have not yet begunDemonstrate good financial health and governanceDescribe how your project will be sustained

Not sure if you need this side or not as at the beginning say we want to put in an application on behalf of a network of partners

SustainabilityApplications need to be over £10,001Fund projects for up to 3 years, but will need to know:

How Inclusive Sport funding will create a sustainable local community sports project after the funding is finished

How your project will lead to sustained participation in regular sporting activity
