That is not all, he also managed to take 4206 Wickets and 287 Five Wicket Hauls. If this isnt enough, he tops this with his fielding record of 765 catches.

    Y, another player from England, finished his First-Class career with 61,760 runs at 50.70. He scored 199 hundreds & 273 fifties in First-Class cricket. His name got featured in the movie Slumdog Millionaire as the answer to the 1 Crore question on the show.

  • The concept of X was introduced in 2005, in which each team can have one player who had to be named before the toss and can be brought at any stage of the game. X is different from 12th man, he can bowl, bat, field and can do wicket keeping unlike 12th man. This change was criticized by the captains as the team who wins toss gets the greater advantage. In 2006 after protest by the players, this rule was withdrawn by the ICC.

    Y, an Udaipur born cricketer was the First ever X in the ODI cricket. He came in to replace Simon Jones against Australia.

  • The first ever official test match commenced on 15 March 1877, between AUS and ENG at the MCG, Melbourne. X had the honour of facing the first ball ever bowled in Test cricket and scoring the first ever run in Test cricket. In the same Match, he also went on to score the First Hundred in Test Cricket scoring 165 runs. Australia was bowled out for a meagre total of 245. X scored 67.34% of total runs and still after 138 years of cricket holds the world record for that.Y, recently came close to break Xs record but got out after scoring 94 and West Indies were bowled out for 148. Ys Brother Z is currently part of the team in T20 World Cup 2016. In IPL Auction 2016, Z was sold to Delhi Daredevils for Rs 4.2 crore.

  • X Srinivas Venkataraghavan Bhagwat Chandrasekhar Y

    The Indian spin quartet is the collective name given to the Indian spin bowlers of the 1960s and 70s. Between them, they played 231 Test matches, taking 853 wickets, with 43 fifers. They were one of the most deadly combinations in world cricket, especially on the dusty sub-continental pitches.

    William Y was an English cricketer who played first class cricket for Derbyshire and MCC between 1873 and 1886. Y is also said to have umpired in the first non- first class game featuring X.   • X had lost 3 of his toes in an accident when he was just 14-year-old, when forklift truck had drove over him. He had said that it was the worst pain he's ever felt in his life. When X was in the hospital, his father had asked Jeff Crowe if a New Zealand player could visit him (to make his soon feel better). Stephen Fleming, the then New Zealand captain, visited him at the hospital the next day.

    X was seen pointing two fingers to Mcmillan in the match against West Indies in WC15 as he became only the second batsman after Craig Mcmillan to hit the top of the roof at the Westpac Stadium, Wellington.
