Dr. Jay Schwartz

INTRODUCTION The founder of Collin County Pediatrics, Dr. Jay Schwartz continues to

provide individual-focused patient care to adolescents and children. Alongside his career as a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Jay Schwartz has helped coach basketball for Upward Sports.

In over two decades since its establishment in 1995, Upward Sports has become a leading provider of Christian sports programs. The organization offers the 360 Progression, a program that helps youth to grow athletically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Many of its programs focus on a particular sport, such as basketball.

The Upward Stars Basketball programs serve youth in 2nd grade through high school. Participants have the opportunity to improve their skills under the leadership of experienced coaches who challenge young athletes to stretch themselves and grow to their full potential.

UPWARD STARS BASKETBALL Youth athletes with Upward Stars Basketball can

choose among three levels of participation. The camp and developmental programs both focus on developing individual skills. The travel programs allow young athletes to play more competitively against other teams at a local, regional, or national level.
