General RulesM

Minimum of 4 players to avoid a forfeit In Co-Rec games at least 1 must be a female
Best of 3 sets wins the match
Rally scoring is used First 2 games go to 25 Third game, if needed, goes to 15, teams will switch sides
after the 8th point
Subs can enter on any dead ball
Each team gets 1 time out per game

The track, baskets, banners and any other hanging objects surrounding the court are considered out.
The ceiling is “playable” if, and only if, it lands on your side of the court
Any contact with or passing outside of the antennas results in a dead ball. A ball landing on any line is considered inbounds.

The Rotation All players must serve in order Players must be in serve order to receive a serve or during play
The Serve Players may serve both over-hand or under hand Players can open hand receive the serve The serve cannot be blocked or attacked The player serving must be a back row player and cannot attack the
ball in front of the attack line If the server’s foot touches or crosses the back end line a point and a
side out will be called.
Bumping and Tipping the BallM

Bumping the Ball Legal contact consists of a bump or a set Double contact is allowed on the serve and on hard driven balls at
the official’s discretion. A team may contact the ball three times to return it
Tipping the Ball Players must use their finger tips and not their palms to play the ball

Players may not touch the net during play A point and a side out will result
The hands and feet of the player’s cannot cross the mid court line
Balls may not be played above the net until it has broken the plane of the net.
A player in the back row may not jump in front of the attack line

All jewelry must be removed prior to the beginning of the match.
Players found with jewelry during the match will cost their team a point and a side out.
Only Captains may clarify calls with the officials. Players that argue calls will be issued an unsportsmanlike conduct.
