1. Jesus asks a perplexing question

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked his disciples, “Who do people

say the Son of Man is?”

He ordered His disciples not to tell anyone that He was the

Messiah

The Jews who heard these words were again divided. Many of them

said, “He is demon-possessed and

raving mad. Why listen to Him?”
