DESCRIPTION

This is something special that God shared with me while I was busy exploring a new career direction. I love photography and all that is represents. So when God showed me this comparison I felt even more compelled to pick up my camera and start capturing everything that God was showing me. I hope you will enjoy the revelation that is brings.

A photographer’s perspective….

*A life of Vision

*What is Photography

*The more decades I do this, the more I realize everything in photography comes down to one word: vision.

*Call it vision, imagination, or seeing; it all comes down to the same thing: the ability to envision a final result in your mind's eye, and then to make it so with your tools at hand.

*It's never been about the gear. It's always been about seeing something, knowing how you want it to look, and making it so.

*What is Photography

*The word photography comes from two ancient Greek words: photo, for "light," and graph, for "drawing."

*"Drawing with light" is a way of describing photography.

*A camera, no matter how many automatic features it may have, is a lifeless piece of equipment until a person uses it.

* It then becomes a uniquely responsive tool--an extension of the photographer's eye and mind.

*A photographer creates a picture.

*Photography can surmount the barriers of language and communicate through universal visual symbols.

*What is Photography

*Photography is the art of creating durable images by recording light.

*A lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during timed exposure

*The result in a photographic emulsion is an invisible image which is later developed into a visible image, either negative or positive depending on the purpose of the photograph and the method of processing

*A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image, known as a print!

*If God uses “negatives” to create the most amazing images……..
