COLOSSIANS 2:13-15When you were dead in your sins & in the un-circumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us & condemned us; He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross…

COLOSSIANS 2:13-15And having disarmed the powers

& authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

THE RESURRECTION

Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene & the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven & came & rolled back the stone & sat on it… (28:1-2)

THE RESURRECTION

His appearance was like lightning, & his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled & became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where He lay. (28:3-6)

THE RESURRECTION

Then go quickly & tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, & behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. See, I have told you.” So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear & great joy, & ran to tell His disciples. (28:7-8)

THE RESURRECTION

And behold, Jesus met them & said, “Greetings!” And they came up & took hold of His feet & worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go & tell My brothers to go to Galilee, & there they will see Me.” (28:9-10)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled

us to Himself through Christ & gave us the ministry of reconciliation…

I Corinthians 15:54-55

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, & the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true:

“Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory?   Where, O death, is your sting?”

…Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
