glass animals toesAn energised piece of film that manipulates ones idea of reality.
the ideaThree old men sit in a bleached white room. They sit in old luxurious single sofas separated from one. With wine and cigar in hand they star blankly into a stack of TV’s in the middle of the room. The TV’s are about three meters away from them. The man in the middle pulls up a remote and turns on the TVs. Electricity pulse throughout the room as the TV flicker on.
The TV displays is in colour displaying a heavenly performance of a band. The camera gets sucked into the reality of the performance slowly slipping into the TV’s glass screen. We are shown the performance of the band.
We come back to the reality of the old men and the camera slowly pans round the TVs to reveal a small boy/girl strapped behind the TVs. Tangled in wires the boy/girl begins to fade away throughout the music video becoming thinner and thinner.
Throughout the music video there will be a dancer in hospital patient clothing being cut in throughout the piece.
Finally the girl/boy strapped to the TV dies and the girl/boy who was dancing replaces her as the men lay back wowed by the performance.
1st element• Our first element would be
the world of the old men in the chairs and the boy/girl strapped to the TV.
this is the girl/boy who is attached to the TV
This the evolution of the girl/boy strapped to the tv as her energy slowly decays throughout.
2nd element• Our 2nd element would be
the performance. The band would be lit as silhouettes. With occasional closeups of instruments and band members.
3rd element• Our 3rd element would be the
dancer. She/he would dance through out with a majestic manner. With effort but also no effort. The girl will be little with streaks of light. Potentially in a shipment container. At the end of their dance the lights get slammed on and the girl gets put behind the TVs.
