Three keys for all Christians
6Jesus answered, "I am THE WAY and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." .

This is an all important statement made by Jesus …
Jesus is telling us very clearly that He is the WAY…As Christians we have to have absolute Faith and accept Jesus Christ as Savior…
No one comes to the Father except through me.
The Way represents – the Christian Faith in JesusThe Truth represents - His Word available in Gods wordThe Life represents our Hope of Salvation by accepting Jesus as our Savior and diliegntly living according His teachings.
What does this promise made by Jesus represent…
FAITH in JesusThe Way…
Now FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Hebrews 11 Verse 1
“the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified or saved”.
According to Christian theology, Faith Is…
In Mark 11 verse 22
"Have FAITH in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him”.
Jesus took this extreme example to tell us the importance of Faith in God
… are we capable of generating that much Faith in His teachings?
Most of us feel that it is a tall order….
Because we are Human…We have set Human limitations…
Even among Christians our level of Faith would be between 0 – 99%...Most of us think….Is it really possible?
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
Proverbs 3 we find an insight as to the level of Faith in God
We measure possibilities and impossibilities based on our own understanding…within human limitationsDue to this trait we tend to underestimate God.Hence WE FAIL TO PLACE ABSOLUTE FAITH IN GOD… to deliver us from whatever situation
…lean not on your own understanding;
Jesus did many miracles because of the Faith placed in Jesus by these persons who received His blessing of healing…
In Jesus' own life we see the importance that He placed on FAITH
Faith
• Luke 7:50Jesus said to the woman, "Your FAITH has saved you; go in peace.“
• Luke 18:42Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your FAITH has healed you.“
• Matthew 9:29Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your FAITH will it be done to you";
And He (Jesus) did not do many miracles there because of their lack of FAITH.
And we also see in Matthew 13:58
John 14:12I tell you the truth, anyone who has FAITH in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Jesus has also told us…
Faith therefore is important….…but how do we develop that kind of Faith…!
PROBLEM
The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our FAITH!“
We find some solace in Luke 17:5
We have to work at building our level of Faith.
BEING HUMAN WE ARE NOT BORN WITH FAITH…OVER TIME WE DEVELOP FAITH IN OUR PARENTS…OUR SURROUNDINGS… OUR FRIENDS…
…THE LEVEL OF FAITH MAY VARY FROM 0 – 99%.
increasing our level of Faith
We cannot expect our FAITH level to generate overnight
It is a process that develops through understanding GODS WORD, living in accordance …diligently seeking and living a life that is pleasing to God
…and as a result firsthand experiencing Gods awesome power impacting your life
..which in turn enhances your level of Faith in God leading you to read GODS WORD…and the continuity of this cycle…
A cycle that helps us to develop and hold on to FAITH…AS IT WILL BE YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE FINDING JESUS…YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR.

LoveThe WAY…
1 Corinthians 13
A Christian definition of Love…
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'LOVE the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22
When Jesus was asked…
On the importance of love…in 1 Corinthians 13
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I GAIN NOTHING.
IF WE DON’T HAVE LOVE WE GAIN NOTHING!
…FROM GOD
To Love your God more than yourself you need to place GODS COMMANDMENTS as your priority over YOUR PRIORITIES!
Love your Neighbor as much as yourself
Take for example Your Children whom you dearly Love…possibly more than your self or at least as much as your self…
Because we love our own Children…
Will we murder… assault…wage war on them? Will we steal from them? Will we commit adultery? Willwe Envy them if they do better than us in
life? Will we falsely accuse or pass judgment on
them? Will we leave them in Hunger or poverty if we
have the means to selfishly overindulge our selves
Will we harbor Anger… Vengeance… deceitfulness…spitefulness against them?
Obviously not…
That is what Jesus wants us to beLove your neighbor as much as yourself…
How much difference would it cause in the world if Christians decided to
be the Light in a dark world…
HOPEThe LIFE…
A wish or desire accompanied by confident expectation of its fulfillment.
HOPE IS DEFINED AS…
Because of Jesus we have HOPE of Salvation…We have a confident expectation that by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and through repentance, we are assured of Salvation.
HOPE IN SALVATION THROUGH JESUS
Matthew 12:21In his name the nations will put their HOPE."
WE SEE A PROPHECY ABOUT JESUS MANY YEARS BEFORE HIS BIRTH GIVEN BY PROPHET ISAIAH
AS CHRISTIANS WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE HOPE OF SALVATION BY JESUS
He made the greatest sacrifice for you and me. So that by believing in Him we can get salvation for our Sins and commence our journey to His Kingdom
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I am the way…
Jesus brought Love…Forgiveness…Humility..Righteousness.. to the world. By believing in Him we have the WAY TO SALVATION…
A FRESH START…and HOPE OF SALVATION.

Jesus' teachings are found in the Gospels. The do’s and Don'ts The TRUTH to achieve Gods Kingdom Through believing in Jesus we find
SALVATION Through Salvation we are given the
opportunity of a FRESH START By Reading…Meditating and Abiding by the
TRUTH FOUND IN HIS WORD, We are given HOPE to embark on our
Journey seeking Gods Kingdom…
Not as Fatigued, Overburdened Sinners with many skeletons in our Closets…
But a Brand new you…without any burdens to obstruct YOUR JOURNEY.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
2 Corinthians 5:17
…and the life.
To reach God’s Kingdom… …because Jesus wants us all to be
there with Him …because He loves You and Me GIVING CHRISTIANS THE UNIQUE
HOPE OF A LIFE OF ETERNITY IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The thruth…FAITH
As Christians living a life in obedience to God’s directives because you love Him more than yourself…
Living a life of harmony with our families…communities… because you love the other as much as your self.
the way…LOVE
Developing a steadfast desire for reaching the Kingdom of God by abidance to the Word of God AND BEING confident fulfillment of this heartfelt desire.
and life…HOPE
Romans 15:13May the God of hope fill you with all JOY and PEACE as you TRUST IN HIM, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.
