The harvest is God’s harvest of souls Jesus bought with His life

God wants people to come to heaven more than we do

God knows how to get them to heaven better than we do

Jesus only did and said what the Father did and said

How can we follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to bring in the harvest?

HOW TO FOLLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT

“Draw near to God and he will draw near to you” ( James 4:8)

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” ( Jer. 29:13)

“Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets.” ( Amos 3:7)

“Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” ( 1Cor 14:1)

WORSHIP & PRAYER WINS BATTLES

It often takes a team to worship well and long! ( Ex. 17:8-16)

Brothers Moses & Arron and nephew Hur—all won the battle via worship & prayer

“You who are enthroned upon [or inhabit] the praises of Israel.” ( Psalm 22:3)

GOD’S PATTERN To Bring in the Harvest

PRAISE—> PRESENCE—>PROPHECY

Acts 13: 1-3: Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers: Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.”

PRAYER & PRAISE—> PRESENCE—>POWER

“And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”

And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.” ( Acts 4:29-31)

PSALM 149: PRAISE & WARFAREPraise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.

Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. (Praise)

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; (Presence)

Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand,

To execute vengeance on the nations…To bind their kings with chains (Warfare)

This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the Lord!

But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…” (Is. 40:31)
