The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of

life, and the man became a living being.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory

that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration,

not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that

the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought

into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of

childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who

have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he

already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it

patiently.

Romans 8:18-25

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord

Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring

everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies

so that they will be like his glorious body.

Philippians 3:20-21

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash,

in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead

will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself

with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When this happens, then the

saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O

death is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the

power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord

Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the

dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.

Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged

according to what they had done as recorded in the books…If anyone’s

name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of

fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though

he dies.”

John 11:25

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with

me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.”

not know the day or the hour.

What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no

one can open.

Revelation 3:7

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw

the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride

beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

“Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and

God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has

passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
