Amorites - masters of witchcraft, their wonder working idols the 7 Holy Nymphs, they taught the

Israelites their evil and wicked ways.

Canaanites - Stone Worship, burning of the victim and shedding of blood on the stone altar. The

mazzebot pillars of stone or the asherot poles, comes from the name Asherah a Syrian goddess.

Gen 12:4,6-7Abram separates from Lot and the Lord blesses him again Gen 13:14-17Abbram returns from saving Lot and defeating the King Kerdoaloamer, the King of Sodom comes to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh. Then Melchizedek King of Salem priest of most high God  came to meet him and brought out bread and wine and blessed Abram. Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.  Gen 14:18-20

If you have no one to bless you can you bless yourself?

1 Chronicles 4:9-10Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”  And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
