What happened to health, wealth, and prosperity doctrine?

At The Abomination

• Matt. 24:15-22, “So when you see standing in the holy place the abomination of desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel- let the reader understand- then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof go down to take anything out. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.”

Hated Gypsies

• Matt. 10:22-23, “All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to the other. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.”

Jesus’ Call to Flee

• Rev. 18:4, “Then I heard another voice from heaven say: ‘Come out of her my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.’”

• God’s tribulation wrath is about to come and remaining in the Last Babylon will result in spiritual compromise, sin, and judgment.

Our Current Orders

• 1 John 2:15-16, “Do not love the world or anything in the world, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does- comes not from the Father but from the world.”

• 85-95% of today’s Christians on Gallop and Barnum studies show most adore it.

Fight or Flee?

• Rev. 13:9-10, “He that has an ear, let him hear. ‘If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone, is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance, and faithfulness on the part of the saints.”

• 2 proactive choices Tribulation Church.• Sunago-go out on one’s own accord to a

place of refuge or resort (not forced).

Escape Babylon

• Zech. 2:7-11, “Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!’ …’Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,’ declared the Lord. Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people.”

Flee First Babylon

• Jer. 51:6, “Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord’s vengeance; He will pay her for what she deserves. Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord’s hand; she has made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore they have now gone mad.”

Same Analogy-Last Babylon

• Rev. 18:3-4, “For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries… Come out of her, my people.”

OT Examples to Flee

• Lot fled to Mountains (Gen. 19:16-18).• Jacob fled Esau (Gen. 27:41).• Elijah to Kidron Valley (2 Ch. 29:16).• Moses fled to Midian (Exod. 2:11).• Obadiah hit 100 prophets (1 Ki. 18:3-4).• David fled Saul (1 Sam. 22-24th chapters).• Mary/Joseph/Jesus fled to Egypt (Matt.

1:18-24).

Normal Response

• Prov. 28:16, “When the righteous triumph, there is great elation, but when the wicked rise to power men go into hiding.”

• Church historical record confirms.• Acts 8:1b, “On that day a great

persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.”

David Struggled

• Psalms 11:1-4a, “In the Lord I take refuge. How can you say to me: ‘Flee like a bird to your mountain. For look the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrow against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed what can the righteous do?’ The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men”.

Faith Chapter

• Heb. 11:38-39, “the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none have received what had been promised.”

• The rejected of society. They will someday receive their promised glorified body-no health, wealth, prosperity doctrine for them

Great Multitude fled?

• Rev. 7:16, “Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor the scorching heat.”

• Were many of these out in the environmental elements fleeing the Last Babylon up until their rapture?

Fleeing is not Cowardice

• Church history supports it.

• The Bible prophesies it.

• We need to use the spiritual discernment the Holy Spirit gives us.

• The Church has already fled Babylon in many areas of today’s world-persecution.

• Fathers as spiritual leaders are called to protect their families.

Those Ignorant Saints

• Will love the world so much with the health, wealth, and prosperity doctrine of the compromised universal end times church that they won’t have many options.

• Choices for them are to fight and die or flee to the mountains with no provisions or be arrested and put in jail.

• Many loose eternal reward and become type of Smyrna.

The Wise Instruction

• Dan. 11:33-35, “Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered… some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end”.

• Those who flee the Last Babylon won’t likely have anything plundered, as their assets will go to charitable causes and/or provisions during the harsh tribulation conditions.

“Wise”-Sacrificial Lambs

• So some “wise” Christians will be lead to rescue come back to further instruct the ignorant believers who remain in the Last Babylon.

• These wise don’t “stumble” spiritually, but in a self sacrificial way are killed by the sword or burned or captured.

• Analogous to Heb. 11:35b, “Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection.”

What’s Your Decision?

• There is a “general calling” to flee the Last Babylon, but The Holy Spirit may call you to be a prisoner and/or martyr for the faith.

• Fathers do have a role to protect their family. Are they not to discern the times we are in and not set up their family for tribulation tragedy?

• Should we not be like Noah, who saw the coming wrath and made preparations?
