Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

God’s plan is to bless us not just to save us.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly

HOW CAN WE ACCESS THE BLESSINGS OF GOD FOR OUR LIVES?

A. GOD’S BLESSING IS A PRODUCT OF RIGHT RELATION


Deu 8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.


Deu 8:11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:


Deu 8:12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;


Deu 8:13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;


Deu 8:14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;


Deu 8:15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;


Deu 8:16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;


Deu 8:17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.



B. GOD’S BLESSINGS WILL FLOW AT THE RIGHT PLACE

C. GOD’S BLESSINGS WILL HAPPEN FOR THE RIGHT PURPOSE


Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:


Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.


To Bless us To be a Blessing to others

For God to be glorified


Psa 67:1 (A psalm and a song for the music leader. Use with stringed instruments.) Our God, be kind and bless us! Be pleased and smile.


Psa 67:2 Then everyone on earth will learn to follow you, and all nations will see your power to save us.


1Ki 8:56 Praise the LORD! He has kept his promise and given us peace. Every good thing he promised to his servant Moses has happened.


1Ki 8:57 The LORD our God was with our ancestors to help them, and I pray that he will be with us and never abandon us.


1Ki 8:58 May the LORD help us obey him and follow all the laws and teachings he gave our ancestors.


1Ki 8:59 I pray that the LORD our God will remember my prayer day and night. May he help everyone in Israel each day, in whatever way we need it.


1Ki 8:60 Then every nation will know that the LORD is the only true God.





D. GOD’S BLESSING WILL COME THROUGH THE RIGHT PROCESS


To have faith in God Heb 11:6 But without faith it

is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.


To obey His word Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall

not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.


To believe on His servants/prophets 2Ch 20:20 And they rose early in

the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
