what is endtime? In 1968, Irvin Baxter Jr. discovered the United States and other modern nations in the Bible. He also found the Berlin Wall in the Bible and that one day it was to be torn down, re-uniting Germany, and that event would be the catalyst to spark an international movement called the “New World Order.” These things have now come to pass. Irvin Baxter Jr., a Pentecostal minister, began Endtime Ministries in 1986 when he wrote A Message For The President, a book explaining the major prophecies of the Bible which he had been teaching since 1968. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, prophetic fulfillment accelerated rapidly. The decision was made to launch Endtime magazine. The purpose of the magazine is to explain the prophecies of the Bible and to show that they are now being fulfilled in intricate detail. Articles focus on the soon return of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Bible, and the need for salvation. Endtime does not deal with doctrinal controversies, as valid as they may be. As we make our way into the year 2009, the world is in a state of utter chaos. The world’s economy is in a steep dive

with no end in sight. Israel’s recent elections were inconclu-sive, leaving all of us to wonder whether the Middle East is headed for peace or nuclear war with Iran.

At the same time, the world’s leading power has a new and very inexperi-enced president, facing challenges that would overwhelm even the most expe-rienced world leader.

Banks are collapsing. Life savings are being wiped out. And the death of capitalism, as we have known it, is being gleefully announced by the closeted socialists among us.

what do we do? where do we hide?First of all, we don’t hide. For we know that “…all things work together for

good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his pur-pose” (Romans 8:28). The time just ahead will be the church’s finest hour. As faith in materialism is being shattered and shown to be the empty hope that it is, we must discover once again that Jesus Christ is the world’s ONLY ANSWER! True Christianity offers peace regardless of the circumstances of life that we might face.

Daniel 11:32-33 prophesied of the times just ahead: “And such as do wick-edly against the covenant shall he (the Antichrist) corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many.”

Jesus confirmed this scenario when He prophesied concerning these end-times in Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

This is not time for true Christians to quiver with fear in our foxholes of unbelief. This is time for total mobilization! We must not buy into Satan’s pro-paganda. It is time for the church of Jesus Christ to be that church that Jesus said the gates of hell would not be able to prevail against!

Please be praying daily for Endtime Ministries. Nine specific prophecies in the Bible will occur within the final seven years prior to the Battle of Armageddon. By examining these prophecies,

we can get a sense of how close we are to Armageddon.

The final seven years will begin when the Antichrist and the international commu-nity give their support to Israel’s right to exist in the land promised to Abraham by God. This is called the confirmation of the covenant (Daniel 9:27 & Genesis 15:18). Israel’s Prime Minister has openly stated that the number one goal of his ad-ministration is to obtain the support of the international community for Israel’s final borders.

A war will begin from the vicinity of the Euphrates River (Revelation 9:13-16). Most of the Euphrates River is in Iraq. The United States has 140,000 troops sta-tioned along the Euphrates at this time. The conflict between the U.S. and Islamic Fundamentalism is not diminishing, but increasing around the world.

The West Bank (Judea) in Israel will be-come a place of great tribulation (Mat-thew 24:15-21). Ehud Olmert has openly stated that he will withdraw from the West Bank (Judea). When Israel withdraws, the Hamas terrorist state will take over in Judea, precipitating a bloodbath.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be placed under a sharing arrangement between Jew and Gentile (Revelation 11:1-2). Pres-ident Clinton suggested the sharing of the Temple Mount in July of 2000. It is gen-erally believed this is the only possible solution to the Temple Mount dispute when-ever the issue is finally resolved.

The Jewish temple will be built on the Temple Mount (Revelation 11:1-2 & 2 Thes-salonians 2:3-4). All the furniture for Israel’s Third Temple is now complete; Israel has her long-sought-for red heifer, which is needed before the re-establishment of temple worship; and in June of 2005, the newly re-born Sanhedrin announced they were proceeding with building the temple.

The Temple Mount will be placed under the supervision of the world community, and the leader of the world community, which will at that time be the Antichrist, will stand on the Temple Mount claiming to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). Ehud Barak, Israeli Prime Minister in the year 2000, suggested placing the Temple Mount under UN control in order to make a sharing of the Temple Mount possible. When the UN takes control of the Temple Mount, the leader of the world government will feel justified in claiming ultimate authority there.

A world government will dominate the world for three and one-half years prior to Ar-mageddon (Daniel 7:23 & Revelation 13:7). The nations of the world are increasingly recognizing the authority of international law. We now have the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Orga-nization and the World Court—just to name a few. We have a World Court to adjudicate the international laws of the emerging world government.

Each person on earth will be required to have a mark or a number in order to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-18). On May 11, 2005, President Bush signed the Real ID Act. The law requires that every American must have a national ID card. Without this card, a person will not be able to hold a job or open a bank account. Without a job or a bank account, how much buying and selling will an individual be able to do? Oh, by the way, you can’t get your card without giving your number…your social security number.

The world community, led by Russia and Iran, will invade the nation of Israel (Zechariah 14:2-4 & Ezekiel 38 & 39) Iran (Persia) and Russia (Meshech—root word for Moscovi or Moscow) are now in alliance. Iran is the leading advocate of “wiping Israel off the map.” e

isRaeL: iRan CoULd attaCK U.s. with nUCLeaR BomB Ehud Barak, the Israeli defense minister, is appealing to world leaders to act now to prevent Iran from continuing its nuclear program. Mr. Barak said, “If it built even a primitive nuclear weapon like the type that destroyed Hiroshima, Iran would not hesitate to load it on a ship, arm it with a detonator operated by GPS and sail it into a vital port on the east coast of North America.” These comments come as a Rus-sian news agency reported that the Krem-lin had confirmed that it will deliver a new air defense system to Iran.

iRan test-fiRes new missiLe - isRaeL within ReaCh Iran said it test-fired a new generation of surface-to-surface missiles and that the Islamic Republic was ready to defend it-self against any attacker. Iran’s latest mis-sile test followed persistent speculation of possible U.S. or Israeli strikes against its nuclear facilities. Barack Obama, like out-going President George W. Bush, has not ruled out military action. Washington said the test highlighted the need for a missile defense system it plans to base in Poland and the Czech Republic.

RUssia to Raise nUCLeaR missiLe oUtPUt foURfoLd, whiLe safetY UndeRCUtA senior government official in Moscow announced that Russia’s military would commission 70 strategic missiles over the next three years, as part of a massive rear-mament program which will also include short-range missiles, 300 tanks, 14 war-ships and 50 planes. The news came at a time when the safety of Russia’s nuclear industry is being negatively affected by the country’s economic crisis. Ongoing job cuts at nuclear facilities include the per-sonnel directly responsible for safety con-trol. Vladimir Slivyak, a Russian nuclear watchdog, says that without a plan for prevention of nuclear proliferation, Russia may return to the dark days of the 1990s when unemployed nuclear scientists and technical specialists offered services to anyone able to pay. China ‘UsinG CYBeRwaRfaRe to ChaLLenGe U.s. PoweR’ According to a congressional report, China is using cyberwarfare to challenge Ameri-can power and distorting economic pol-icy to exert political influence over other countries. The report accuses China of us-ing its foreign exchange reserves, built up

through government control to buy influ-ence. In a recent example, a government sovereign wealth fund agreed to use the reserves to loan money to Costa Rica in re-turn for dropping diplomatic recognition of Taiwan. Meanwhile, it has built up its army of cyber-spies so that it can launch attacks “anywhere in the world at any time”. At-tacks on U.S. government defense compa-nies and businesses had risen in 2007 to 43,880 incidents, with some being so so-phisticated that they might be impossible to counteract. The current report comes amid a great American unease that China will benefit from the global financial crisis to cut into its economic, political and even military dominance.

CZeCh Pm Raises new LisBon hURdLe Tony Blair has made more than $19 million since stepping down as British premier over a year ago. The sum amounts to more than six times his entire life earnings up to his departure from office. Blair is now thought to be the world’s highest-grossing speaker, having made more from speeches in the past 12 months than Bill Clinton did in his first year after leaving the White House.

GanLeY: iRish LisBon ReRUn a ‘done deaL’Libertas leader and anti-Lisbon campaigner Declan Ganley says that an Irish-French deal has been done on a rerun of the Lisbon Treaty, which he calls a “betrayal of the Irish people.” French President Nicolas Sarkozy informed a number of people that he reached a deal with Irish Taoiseach Brian Cowen. EU leaders are meeting to hear more from Cowen on his “roadmap” for a solution to the impasse created by the Irish no vote. It is expected that the Irish will be given a number of concessions to sweeten the electorate for a second referendum. Once the Lisbon Treaty is passed by all twenty seven EU nations, it will provide Europe with her first ever constitution and permanent president. Tony Blair has once again been placed on the short list of potential candidates.

Janet naPoLitano PRomises BUsiness as UsUaL at homeLand seCURitYJanet Napolitano, the governor of Arizona, has been tapped as the new head of Homeland Security replacing Michael Chertoff. Napolitano says her support of the Real ID Act is contingent upon adequate federal funding. Napolitano signed legislation to stop the program in her home state of Arizona, but she was also one of the first promoters of a new state driver’s license that would comply with Real ID. At least 11 states have passed bills that bar Real ID which Congress passed in 2005. DHS officials granted states extensions to the original compliance deadline of May 2008, saying they must begin the transition by Dec. 31, 2009.

BRitain BeGins nationaL id PLan The British government has begun an identity card program for foreign nationals. The plan comes six years after heated debate over whether the costly program is an effective tool against terrorism, identity theft and welfare fraud. Government officials say the cards should provide a way to determine a person’s identity and if they are eligible to work in Britain. The cards will contain a computer chip with fingerprint information and other data. It is predicted that Britons will generally accept the new cards until their use becomes compulsory for everyone.

sinGLe GLoBaL CURRenCY The Single Global Currency Association is urging the G20 to initiate research and plan-ning for a single global currency. The asso-ciation’s president wrote to IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, to urge such a step in order to “achieve the primary goal of the 1944 Bretton Woods Conference and of the IMF: stable currency around the world.” The association supports the calls by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy for a restructuring of the global financial system. Benefits of a single global currency would include the elimination of $400 billion in annual foreign exchange costs and fluctua-tions. It would also eliminate the need for reserves, now totaling more than $3 trillion around the world.

the stRateGiC PRiCe of isRaeL’s GaZa assaULt According to Time magazine, Israel has engaged in the deadliest bloodbath since 1967. The radical Palestinian movement of Hamas that governs Gaza appears to have

underestimated Israel’s readiness to launch a military campaign in response to an esca-lation of Palestinian rocket fire. By striking Gaza now, Israel has pushed the conflict with the Palestinians to the top of the pri-orities facing the Obama Administration.

oLmeRt: ‘the time has Come to saY these thinGs’ Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in an interview, “The decision we have to make is the decision we’ve spent forty years refusing to look at with our eyes open. We must reach an agreement with the Palestinians, meaning a withdrawal from nearly all of the occupied territories. This includes Jerusalem—with special ar-rangements made for the Temple Mount and the holy sites.”

De-fense officials have said Israel is preparing a wide range of options for the operation. Israeli officials say it would be difficult, but not impossible, to launch a strike against Iran without receiving codes from the U.S. Air Force, which controls Iraqi airspace.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit heard arguments in the case of Shawn Byrne, a used-car dealer who wishes to af-fix to his pickup truck a personalized plate reading “JN36TN.” This stands for John 3:16, a familiar passage from the Bible. The state of Vermont has denied Byrne’s request, ruling that it runs afoul of statu-tory rules that ban the use of any combina-tion of letters or numbers on personalized plates that refer in any language “to a race, religion, color, deity, ethnic heritage, gen-der, sexual orientation, disability status or political affiliation.”

Comment: BeLieVinG sCRiPtURe is a ChaRaCteR fLaw Regarding the article, “Daniel’s Equations,” I am unable to take seriously the interpretations by Christians of a Jewish book. One person believes the prophecies can be disproven; yet I go further. I think that those who believe in prophecies have a fundamental character flaw. There is a noticeable desire in wanting the dreadful things that are to appear at Christ’s second coming to teach and punish the wretched sinner. reply| The prophecies of which you speak are found in the Bible. It appears you are saying that anyone who believes the Bible has a fundamental character flaw. That’s quite an assertion!

It was also insinuated that those who believe the prophecies want dreadful things to happen to people. On the contrary, the very purpose of teaching the prophecies is to help people avoid the things that are foretold in scripture. What could be wrong with that?

reply| The subject of Revelation 17-18 is the judgment of the great whore. In chapter 17, we are given six clues as to her identity.

1. The woman is a city–Verse 182. The city presides over a vast international system–Verse 153. The city (woman) sits on seven hills–Verse 94. The woman is arrayed in purple and red–Verse 45. The woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the martyrs of Jesus–Verse 66. The woman was the “Mother” of Harlots. This indicates that she has daughters–Verse 5

We have to ask the question: Does New York City match all of these clues?

1. Is New York City a city? Yes2. Does New York City preside over a vast international system? Since the UN is there, we probably should answer yes.3. Does New York City sit on seven hills? No4. Is New York City arrayed in purple and scarlet? No5. Has New York City ever been drunk with the blood of the saints? No6. Could it be said that New York City has daughters? No

We can see from this analysis that New York City only meets two of the clues of the identity of the great harlot. Conse-quently, she is not possibly the harlot that is to receive judgment.

However, there is a city on earth that meets every one of these clues.

1. Rome is a city.2. Rome does rule over a vast interna-tional system, claiming authority over in excess of 1 billion people.3. Rome is famous as the “City of Seven Hills.”4. The Roman Catholic Church has two ruling bodies: The College of Cardinals and the College of Bishops. The Cardinals wear red. The bishops wear purple.5. During the time of the Inquisition and the Crusades, millions were killed by the Roman Church for the crime of heresy.6. When the Protestants broke off from the “Mother Church”, they were referred to as daughters. At the time of Vatican Coun-cil II, the Roman Church invited all the “daughters” to return home. As you can see, the Roman Catholic Church fulfills every one of the clues giv-en in Revelation 17.

Comment: deCLaRation of indePen-denCe PRoPhesied The prophecy in Daniel 7 refers to the lion with eagle’s wings. The eagle’s wings were plucked depicting the United States declar-ing its independence from Great Britain. This prophecy is found in Daniel 7:4. A recent discovery has revealed a parallel re-lationship between this scripture’s chapter and verse and the date of the Declaration of Independence! This indeed gives reinforce-ment to the meaning of this scripture and will also help a person to remember where this prophecy is located in the Bible.

reply| As you point out, the prophecy of the Declaration of Independence is given in Daniel 7:4. The Declaration of Inde-pendence occurred on 7/4/1776. Is this by divine providence or a mere coincidence? I don’t know, but it certainly is interest-ing!

QUestion: CastinG of the CenseRRevelation has never made sense to me until I found Endtime Ministries. The first video I watched was the Seven Trumpets, and I just about fell out of my chair. I could not believe what I was watching. After watching a few more videos over the next few days, I felt like God was telling me to

share this information with my Church. I soon started teaching your information to a small group at my church. I just finished a lesson on the Seven Seals and someone asked me a question about the Golden Censer, which is grouped with the Seventh Seal. In my mind I understand the timeline you created, and I am trying to figure out how the Golden Censer fits in. It seems to be a prelude for the Trumpets and the only thing I could figure is that it burns during the Trumpets and is cast down to Earth by the angel at Armageddon (because it too has lightning, rumbling, and an earth-quake). Am I close?

reply| As you mentioned, the timing of the casting of the censer to the earth is giv-en by the description of lightnings, thun-derings, voices and a great earthquake. This description is used several times throughout the book of Revelation. Every mention is referring to the same time.

In Revelation 6:12-14, it happens at the sixth seal when the heavens depart like a scroll for the second coming to occur.

In Revelation 8:5, it happens at the time of the seventh seal, which is simply a con-tinuation of the sixth seal above.

In Revelation 11:19, the exact same things are recorded at the sounding of the seventh trumpet when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ. This also depicts the second coming.

Revelation 16:16-18 describes the Battle of Armageddon. Again we are told that there were voices, lightnings, thunderings and a great earthquake. We know the second coming happens at Armageddon.

So what is the significance of the censer being cast into the earth? I had not given this much thought until I received your question. In Numbers 16:46-50, Moses commanded Aaron to take a censer and make atonement for the people. The pas-sage states that Aaron stood between the living and the dead.

The time of Armageddon is going to be eternal life to the saved and eternal dam-nation to those who are lost. Revelation 14:14-20 even records two harvests at this time. The harvest of the saved is described first, and then the harvest of the wicked to cast them into the winepress of the Battle of Armageddon.

It appears to me that the censer containing the prayers of the saints will work salvation to the righteous and wrath to the ungodly.

reply| Through the years, I have heard of certain organizations that supposedly say we must reduce the world’s population by two billion. I have never documented these reports so I would not want to com-ment on them irresponsibly.However, I can answer your question as to whether a program of this nature will be responsible for the two billion that the Bible says will die. The cause of the two billion dying will be war. Revelation 9:13-16 describes an army of 200 million that will fight in this war. Furthermore, the war will begin from the area of the Eu-phrates River.

That would be more disk space to store these calls than is man-ufactured today, and there is no database search engine big enough for these records. Can selective lines and areas be recorded? Probably. The government has paid our telephone companies hundreds of millions of dollars to develop software so the FBI can have ready access to instant wiretaps of certain civilian activities in many of our telephone central offices. The Bible has given us many prophecies that will come to pass just before the second

coming of Jesus. Most of these prophecies are in the process of fulfillment right now.

So that we can understand the prophetic fulfillments that occurred in 2008, let’s list

some of the prophecies that have been given to us by God for this endtime.

Many significant developments occurred toward the fulfillment of each of these prophe-cies in 2008. To demonstrate that this is true, we will briefly explain the world events that occurred this past year, which had direct bear-ing upon the fulfillment of each prophecy.

The prophecy Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the

fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

In both of these prophecies, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testa-ment, the subject is the Antichrist and his world government. In both prophecies, it spe-cifically states that he will have power over all the earth.

The fulfillmentOur world is so consumed with the march

into world government that we are hardly aware of the beat of the drum to which we are marching. World government terms have so permeated our vocabulary that we say them and are not even aware of what we are saying or what the terms we are using actually mean.

For example, we continually hear the term “world community”, but it seems to not even register in our psyche what we are saying. What is the world community? It’s the major-ity of the world’s nations walking in lock step. It’s the nations of the world coming together and acting in unison. The world community is, in fact, a virtual one-world government speaking with a single voice. And that voice emanates from the United Nations, the orga-nization designed to enact and enforce inter-national law.

International lawNow there’s a good world government term

for you—international law. What is interna-tional law?

There is a vast body of international laws that has been formulated through inter-lock-ing international treaties. Once treaties are ad-opted by nations, the provisions and commit-ments of those treaties become the supreme law of the land.

International law by its very definition de-mands an international government to enforce that international law. If you don’t have the means of enforcing international law, it be-comes a meaningless charade. The means of enforcing international law is called interna-tional government or world government. Con-sequently, we now find ourselves comfortably speaking of the World Bank, the World Trade

Organization, the World Court, the World Health Organization, the Global Poverty Act, the Global Commons, and on and on and on.

But what does all of this mean? It simply means that we are right now being engulfed in the emerging endtime world government prophesied in the Bible.

GlobalizationOver the past ten years, an interesting term

has entered mankind’s vocabulary—globaliza-tion. That’s a big word that we hear almost every day on the news, but very few of us can really give a good definition of the term. What is globalization?

Globalization: The process of transitioning the world system of governance from a system

of nation-states to a structure of global govern-ment. That’s what the world is presently going through. We are in the process of moving from a world made up of sovereign states to a world ruled by one-world government. This process of globalization is moving us very rapidly into the one-world government over which the An-tichrist will soon rule.

Bill Clinton’s roommate, while attending Oxford University as a Rhodes scholar, was a man named Strobe Talbott. Talbott described globalization best in an article he wrote for Time magazine in 1992. He said that national sovereignty, as we have known it, will cease to exist in the 21st century; that we will all an-swer to a single global authority (“The Birth

of the Global Nation,” Time, July 20, 1992). Shortly after making these statements, Talbott was elevated to the White House by President Clinton, where he served as Deputy Secretary of State for the next seven years. Hmm… ap-parently, Clinton agreed with Talbott about the coming world government!

After the end of the Clinton presidency, Tal-bott accepted the position of president of the Brookings Institute, one of the leading think tanks in the world. This provided the perfect platform from which to continue the promo-tion of Talbott’s one-world government vi-sion.

It’s interesting that, in 2002, a lady by the name of Susan Rice came to work with Talbott as a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy and Global Economy and Development program at Brookings. Rice is currently on leave from the Brookings Institution, having served as a se-nior foreign policy advisor to Senator Barack Obama in his 2008 presidential campaign.

On December 1, 2008, she was nominated by President-elect Obama to be the U.S. Am-bassador to the United Nations, a position, which he upgraded to cabinet level. Now con-firmed, Rice is perfectly positioned to preach the gospel of globalization at the UN that she promoted along side Strobe Talbott at Brook-ings. Now she can promote world government on behalf of the United States at the very seat of world government.

Global tax–coming soon!Those who advocate a system of one-world

government have chaffed for many years be-neath the lack of financial independence un-der which the UN has been forced to operate. The globalists have proposed different forms of global taxation, but they have always been rejected by the major powers that have desired to retain financial control of the world body.

The latest proposal for global taxation was made when the member states of the UN ad-opted the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the year 2000. Amongst other things, the developed nations were urged to donate a percentage of their GDP, gross do-mestic product, to the United Nations for the purpose of eradicating global poverty. The esti-mated assessment for the United States was .7 percent of our GDP. When you consider .7 per-cent of the total production of the U.S. econ-omy, you are speaking of $845 billion over the next 13 years. This would be over and above the foreign aid we are already distributing.

Obama’s Global Poverty ActAs an advocate of world government, in

2007 Senator Barack Obama sponsored the Global Poverty Act. This bill provided for re-quiring the president of the United States to implement the necessary steps to meet the Millennium Development Goals as set by the UN. If approved, the Global Poverty Act will be the largest step of wealth redistribution ever taken by the United States.

Once we have world law, a world court, a world tax, a world economy, a world police (I didn’t tell you about that), and world “peace-


keeping” forces to enforce the decisions of the world government, we will have world gov-ernment whether you call it the world com-munity, the international community or the United Nations. It is world government, and it is the world government prophesied in Dan-iel 7:23 and Revelation 13:7.

The prophecyAnd he exerciseth all the power of the first

beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those mir-acles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

InterfaithismThe logic goes something like this. Most

wars on earth have been caused by conflicts over three principal things: politics, econom-ics and religion. So the theory goes that, if we had a one world political system, a one-world economic system and some kind of a global belief system, we would see the birth of a new world order where peace and harmony would finally prevail.

The most difficult pillar of this three-legged world government stool is the one-world be-lief system. How could we possibly eliminate religious conflict—making it illegal, and finally have peace on earth, good will toward men?

The one-world dreamers have been work-ing on the concept of Interfaithism for many

years now. They began by launching the ecu-menical movement in earnest back in the early 1960s. Pope John 23rd called Vatican Council II, inviting all the Protestant “daughters” of the Roman Catholic Church to return home to “mother”. It seemed like mission impossible at the time. But, faster than most of us could believe, the doctrinal difference that had sepa-rated Protestants from Catholics began to fade away. Soon, Lutherans, Methodists, Catholics and even some Pentecostals, were swapping pulpits and declaring that the body of Christ would soon be one.

But that was only step one. How do we get Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Wiccans and all the rest to drop their religious exclusiveness and to entertain the possibility that we all really serve the same God—even though we may call him by different names? It seemed like a re-education process that might be accomplished over hundreds of years, but in our lifetimes? I hardly think so.

I was so incredulous when privileged to at-tend the constitution signing for the United Religions Initiative in Pittsburg, Pennsylva-nia. It was held on June 26, 2000; exactly 55 years to the day after the constitution for the United Nations had been signed.

I watched as the Indigenous People opened

the ceremonies with dancing and drums. That was followed by a Hindu lady praying, seated in the lotus position. Toward the end of her prayer, she quietly intoned…OHM (Oneness Healing Meditation). I thought I heard the congregation quietly refrain… OHM. Then the Hindu leader repeated louder… OHM. Then the congregation…then the leader, and so on. Soon the entire auditorium was filled with Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Hindus, In-digenous, Zoroastrians and Wiccans, all uni-fied together in interfaith prayer. The hair on the back of my neck began to stand on end!

President George W. Bush summarized In-terfaithism. He was asked if he believed that Jews, Muslims and Christians all worship the same God. He boldly answered, “That’s

what I believe.”Now a resolution has been proposed at the

United Nations that anyone speaking against or critically of any other religion is guilty of a hate crime. It hasn’t passed yet, but it will.

The prophecy states that every person will be forced to bow the knee to the one-world government system and the leader of that world government. If a person refuses, he or she will become a target of persecution and possibly even death.

Could such a state of belief ever gain trac-tion in our world? The fact is, it is happen-ing right now! In many nations, speaking against homosexuality is considered a hate crime, meriting fines and even jail terms. In Germany, homeschooling your children results in having them taken from you and charges of criminal negligence being filed by the state. They are supposedly being deprived of the opportunity to learn the culture of the German nation and of developing a healthy belief system.

During 2008, Catholics and Muslims be-gan meeting together in order to create un-derstanding through dialogue.

In 2008, Tony Blair resigned from being prime minister of Great Britain. He an-nounced that he would be a guest lecturer at

Yale University on the subject of “Faith and Globalization”. He also launched the Tony Blair Foundation, designed to foster inter-faith understanding and the harmonization of politics and religion. We’re talking about Tony Blair, one of the world’s leading states-men, devoting his life to the concept that all religions are equally valid and should be mu-tually respected. Blair sees Interfaithism as an indispensible element for world peace.

Blair’s last lecture of his first semester at Yale was concluded with a major December address that laid out significant expansion plans for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.

The University’s Faith & Globalization ini-tiative — a partnership between the School of Management, the Divinity School and



Blair’s foundation — will grow over the next two years to become a major University-wide effort, Blair and Yale officials pledged Decem-ber 11, 2008.

In that time, the University will work with the London-based foundation to publish a ma-jor book on the subject of faith and globaliza-tion and establish student internships at the foundation’s London offices. Meanwhile, Blair said his foundation will base staff on campus and make Yale the headquarters of its United States operations.

The Faith & Globalization initiative, to be spearheaded by the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, will also expand course offerings on the subject of faith and sponsor discussions encouraging Christian-Muslim dialogue, in-cluding two forums to be held at Yale in 2010 and 2012.

The role of Interfaithism in the recent presi-dential campaign and inauguration demon-strates just how far we have travelled down the road toward religious amalgamation. The Democratic National Convention was opened by an interfaith service. Then, during the pres-idential inaugural activities, President-elect Obama chose a gay Episcopalian bishop, a Muslim, Jewish rabbis and an evangelical min-

ister to offer prayers.When we consider all of these develop-

ments, it becomes obvious that the one-world religious system that will captivate the world during the reign of the Antichrist is much fur-ther advanced than most of us have realized.

Is it possible that the one-world religion of the Antichrist will actually be Interfaithism?

The prophecyAnd he causeth all, both small and great,

rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that

had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.


The key to total controlIf I can control whether you can eat or not,

I can control you. If I can control whether you are permitted to work or not, I can control whether you can eat or live.

The prophecy states that every person on earth will be forced into political and religious conformity by controlling his or her ability to “buy or sell.”

A global system is being established right now that will control whether a person can buy or sell because it will control whether that person is permitted to hold a job.

This system is being set up at the request of the United Nations. The UN’s International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has asked all nations to establish standardized identi-fication cards for every citizen by 2010. Out of 192 nations on earth, 186 of them plan to comply with this request by 2010.

President Bush explained that he was con-forming to the UN’s request by signing the Real ID Act on May 11, 2005. The Real ID Act mandated that all drivers’ licenses and

ID cards must conform to global standards by May 11, 2008. These ID documents will be required to fly on a commercial airline, enter a federal building, and for many other essential activities.

Ultimately, Homeland Security wants to make these ID cards essential for holding a job. The Immigration Bill that went down to defeat in 2008 was defeated because it required every person holding or applying for a job to have the national ID card and to be in the national database established by Homeland Security.

Why shouldn’t the government be able to control whether you can work or not? Many people contend that this is the only way to weed out those who are working within our borders illegally. We all know that illegal immi-

gration is a problem. But we should note that this problem has been caused by our govern-ment’s refusal to enforce our borders.

E-VerifyBecause there has been such fierce opposi-

tion to the national ID card known as Real ID, the government is now attempting a different tactic to control every person who holds a job in America, and consequently every person’s ability to buy or sell.

Again, under the guise of stopping illegal im-migrants from holding jobs, Homeland Securi-ty has launched a program called E-Verify. This program is presently voluntary, but is projected to become mandatory. Recently, it became mandatory for all employers who are working for government contractors. Some individual states have recently made it mandatory.

E-Verify requires the employer to check all employees against the databases of Homeland Security and Social Security. If they are not in the database, then Homeland Security will do further background checks to determine the legal status of the person. If the person is not a legal citizen, he cannot be employed.

Is this a good thing? Most Americans feel

like individuals should only be in America le-gally and should certainly be legal in order to work. However, if the government can refuse the right to work for one reason, they also could deny the right to work for other reasons that they might deem important. For example, if a person were considered “dangerous” for extreme political or religious views, his right to work could be suspended, once this level of control is in the hands of Homeland Security.

Could this ever happen? Not only could it happen, the Bible says that it will.

Finger scanning to be lunch card in St. Louis

In Rockwood, a suburb of St. Louis, Mis-souri, students have begun paying for lunch without coins, bills or plastic.

On January 6, the school district switched to a biometric system that allows students to access their lunch account with a finger scan.

U.K. will begin microchipping prisonersThe British government is developing a

plan to track current and former prisoners by means of microchips implanted under the skin, drawing intense criticism from proba-tion officers and civil rights groups.

As a way to reduce prison crowding, many British prisoners are currently released under electronic monitoring, carried out by means of an ankle bracelet that transmits signals like those used by mobile phones.

Now the Ministry of Justice is exploring the possibility of injecting prisoners in the back of the arm with a radio frequency iden-tification (RFID) chip that contains informa-tion such as their name, address and criminal record. Such chips, which contain a built-in antenna, could be scanned by special readers. The implantation of RFID chips in luggage, pets and livestock has become increasingly popular in recent years.

In addition to monitoring incarcerated prisoners, the ministry hopes to use the chips

on those who are on probation or other con-ditional release. By including a satellite uplink system in the chip, police would be able to use global positioning system (GPS) technology to track subjects’ exact locations at all times. According to advocates of such a measure, this could help keep sex offenders away from “forbidden” zones like schools.(David Gutierrez Natural News June 23, 2008)

The prophecyAnd he shall confirm the covenant with

many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that de-termined shall be poured upon the desolate.

A brief explanation of the prophecyThe “he” in this prophecy is the Antichrist.

The covenant that he will confirm is the Abra-hamic Covenant, which God made with Abra-ham in Genesis 15:18. It simply states that Is-rael has a God-given right to exist as a nation in the Holy Land.

“One week” refers to a week of years or a seven-year period. It will be the final seven-year period immediately preceding the battle of Armageddon and the second coming of Je-sus Christ.

The stopping of sacrifices will be ordered by the Antichrist. These sacrifices will have been resumed after the completion of Israel’s temple on the Temple Mount.

The abomination of desolation is when the Antichrist will stand on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem claiming to be Messiah and God. This event occurs half way through the final seven years and marks the beginning of the three and one-half year period called the great tribulation.

The Middle East peace processThe Roadmap for Peace formulated by the

world community in 2003 contains all the ele-ments of the Daniel 9:27 prophecy. The Road-map calls for establishing the final borders of Israel and for determining the final status of the Temple Mount.

Negotiations concerning the final borders of Israel and the Temple Mount have been

ongoing throughout 2008. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice travelled to the Mid-dle East every month of 2008 except for July. That’s when the Israeli and Palestinian nego-tiators travelled to Washington, D.C., meeting with her there.

Both Tony Blair, special envoy to the Middle East from the world community, and Ehud Olmert, Israel’s prime minister, have stated that an agreement on all core issues was virtually complete. They indicated that the agreement could not be implemented be-cause Olmert’s government was only a care-taker government due to Olmert’s resigna-tion. Both leaders stated that the two parties were closer to a complete and comprehensive peace agreement than they have ever been.

If the work of Blair, Rice, Olmert, Livni and Abbas results in a final peace agreement in the near future, then 2008 will be remembered as a year of extreme prophetic significance.

The prophecyAnd whereas thou sawest the feet and toes,

part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the king-dom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as



iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings will the God of heaven set up a kingdom that will never pass away.

Feet of iron mingled with clayNebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2:31-45

prophesies all the empires that will achieve world government status between 600 BC and

the second coming of Jesus to earth. The head of gold represents the empire of

Babylon, which came to an end in 539 BC.The arms and breasts of silver depict the

Media-Persia Empire (539-331 BC).The belly and thighs of brass symbolize the

Grecian empire of Alexander the Great (331-197 BC).

The legs of iron represent the Roman Em-pire (197 BC-297 AD).

The feet of iron mingled with clay symbol-ize the Holy Roman Empire, which was estab-lished in 800 AD and will continue until the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The prophecy states that, in the days of the feet of iron and clay, the God of heaven will establish His eternal kingdom.

The Holy Roman EmpireThe Holy Roman Empire was born on

Christmas Day, 800 AD. Pope Leo III placed a crown on the head of Charlemagne and pro-nounced, “I hereby crown you emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.”

For the next 1,000 years, the Holy Roman Empire rose and fell several times. It was al-ways ruled by Europe’s strongest political leader of the time and the pope of the Roman Catholic Church. It has always been a union of church and state.

The Bible prophesies one last revival of the Holy Roman Empire right before the second coming of Jesus Christ. Once again, it will be a union of church and state presided over by a political leader, the Antichrist, and a spiritual leader, the False Prophet.

The rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire has been in progress since the creation of the Eu-ropean Common Market in 1957 by the Treaty of Rome. Since that time, the Common Market has become the European Union and consists of 27 states with over 500 million inhabitants. Most of the member states have now adopted a common currency, the euro, and are on the brink of adopting a European constitution. The

constitution, known as the Lisbon Treaty, was signed by the heads of all 27 member-states on December 13, 2007. Once the constitution is ratified by each individual government, Europe will then elect its own president and will have its own foreign minister.

Twenty-five states ratified the Lisbon Treaty in 2008. The people of Ireland voted “no” on the treaty, and the Czech Republic has yet to vote on ratification. The member states have passed some adjustments to the Treaty of Lis-bon in an effort to facilitate adoption by Ire-land when it takes a second vote later on in 2009. If Ireland and the Czech Republic do ratify as is expected, the European Union will become a virtual United States of Europe in 2009. Europe would then elect its own Presi-dent of Europe in 2010.

All of this is extremely important pro-phetically since the Antichrist and the False Prophet will emerge from the reborn Holy Roman Empire.

The prophecyAnd the sixth angel sounded, and I heard

a voice from the four horns of the golden al-tar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. A brief explanation of the prophecyThe prophecy simply states there will be a

war that emanates from the Euphrates River and eventually results in the killing of one-third of mankind.

War has been raging along the Euphrates since the 2003 invasion of Iraq by the U.S. The conflict has continued and appears to be expanding to Afghanistan. It also threatens to

spread to Pakistan.President Obama says that America will be

out of Iraq within the next 18 months. But will we? We continue to have 146,000 troops sta-tioned along the Euphrates River.

In the meantime, Iran continues to enrich ura-nium in defiance of the world community. The UN Security Council has already imposed three levels of economic sanctions against Iran for not complying with UN edicts. Both Israel and the United States have openly stated that Iran will not be permitted to possess nuclear weapons.

The latest intelligence reports are saying that Iran will likely have built a nuclear bomb by the end of 2009. Many analysts agree that an attack on Iran by either the U.S. or Israel could trigger World War III.

How will this awesome prophecy foretelling the death of 2.2 billion human beings be ful-filled? We may not know exactly how the war will be triggered, but, be assured, the prophecy will be fulfilled.

Lot resided in Sodom and Gomorrah. The distinguishing sin of Sodom was sodomy—homosexuality. Homosexual activity was ram-pant and blatant. The prophecy states that ho-mosexuality will again be rampant and blatant at the time of the second coming of Jesus. Well, it’s happening now!

Homosexual acts were criminal in every state in the United States from the founding of our nation until 1960. Since that time, a quantum shift has occurred. Today, homo-sexual conduct has been legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Same-sex marriageIn 2004, the Massachusetts Supreme Court

declared that laws against same-sex marriage were unconstitutional.

In May of 2008, the California Supreme Court legitimatized same sex marriage in that state. This action nullified a vote by the peo-ple of California that had declared same-sex marriage illegal.

Immediately after the court ruling, Cali-fornia’s marriage licenses were altered to say Party A and Party B, instead of Bride and Groom. One couple wanted their marriage license to say Bride and Groom, so they wrote it in. Their license was sent back saying that this was not acceptable.

Shortly after this, the California State Leg-islature passed law, SB 777, which requires only positive portrayals of homosexual, bi-sexual, transgender and other alternative Lifestyle choices. This basically eliminated the use of the terms mom and dad or husband and wife in the school classroom.

In October of 2008, Connecticut’s Su-preme Court ruled that gay couples have the right to marry, making the state the third state to legalize such unions.

It should be noted that same-sex marriage has only been declared legal by ultra-liberal judges. Whenever the people have voted on the issue, they have outlawed same-sex mar-riage every time. So far, thirty states have de-clared gay marriages illegal. Zero states have voted to approve same-sex marriage.

Californians fight backThe people of California did not appreci-

ate their elitist judges over-ruling the will of the people. Consequently, in the Novem-ber 2008 elections, the people of California passed Proposition 8, reversing the court’s action and rendering same-sex marriage un-constitutional.

Between the time of the Supreme Court’s action in May and the adoption of the con-

stitutional amendment in November, it is reported that over 10,000 same-sex couples were married. Now that same-sex marriage is once again illegal, the status of these couples remains in doubt.

Obama congratulates same-sex couplesA few weeks after California’s court ruled

concerning same-sex marriage, then Demo-cratic presidential nominee Barack Obama sent his congratulations to all the newly mar-ried same-sex couples. Writing to the Alice B. Tokias Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Democratic Club, Obama said, “I want to congratulate all of you who have shown your love for each other by getting married these last few weeks.”

A brief explanation of the prophecyIt has been so easy during 2008 to observe

the stage being set for the battle of Armaged-don. Israel and the city of Jerusalem have been the focus of the world’s attention throughout this entire year.

Tony Blair was appointed special envoy to the Middle East from the world community. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice vis-ited Israel every month this year except for July. In July, the peace negotiators travelled to Washington D.C. meeting with her there.

Most important to notice has been the continuing alliance between Russia and Iran. Ezekiel 38:3-5 specifically states that Russia and Iran will invade Israel at the time of Armageddon.

Russia is referred to by the names of Rosh and Meshech. In Webster’s Third Interna-tional Dictionary it states that Meshech is the root word for Moscovi or Moscow.

Iran is called by its ancient name of Persia. Iran was called Persia until 1935.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated repeatedly that Israel will soon be wiped off the map. Iran will attempt to accom-plish this vision at the battle of Armageddon.

Russia is Iran’s number one ally and has been the supplier of uranium for Iran’s con-troversial nuclear program. Russia has used its veto power at the UN Security Council to head off meaningful sanctions that would force Iran into compliance to the will of the world community.

There are two major prophetic fulfillments that lie just ahead: The Sixth Trumpet War that will

kill one-third of mankind and the signing of a peace agreement in the Middle East that allows

the building of Israel’s temple on the Temple Mount. Scripture is not clear as to which of these two

prophecies will come to pass first. The stage is set for either of them to take place at any time.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN

The Sixth Trumpet War is prophesied to be-gin from the area of the Euphrates River. The U.S. has 146,000 troops stationed along the Euphrates at this moment. The center for the War on Terror is up and down the Euphrates.

Iran’s nuclear program is considered the number one danger to world peace today. Many people believe Iran will possess a nu-clear bomb sometime in 2009. She recently launched a satellite into space. The rocket re-quired to achieve this would also be capable of carrying a nuclear warhead as far as 3,000 miles from Iran’s borders. This means Israel and all of Europe are now within the range of Iran’s missiles.

Both the U.S. and Israel have stated that Iran will not be allowed to obtain a nuclear bomb. Yet, Iran continues to enrich uranium in defiance of three UN resolutions demand-ing that enrichment be stopped. If Iran con-tinues refusing to respond to diplomacy, the only option left for the U.S. and Israel will be military action. Iran warns that an attack on Iran will mean World War III. Israel has said that she will resort to the military option if di-plomacy fails. Will 2009 be the year when this difficult situation must be faced? Very likely!

The last year and a half of the Bush admin-istration was focused on reaching peace in the Middle East. A peace agreement was not finalized; however, it has been reported that an agreement on a peace plan was actually reached between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. But neither of them was strong enough to deliver on the agreement they had reached. Olmert had resigned and, as a caretaker, was not empowered to institute significant gov-ernmental changes. Abbas had lost control of half of the Palestinian people to Hamas and therefore could not really conclude an agree-ment that would be honored by the 1.5 mil-lion Palestinians of Gaza.

If Hamas and Fatah can reunite, and if the new Israeli government that is now in formation is willing to accept the terms ne-gotiated by the Olmert government, it is defi-nitely possible that a peace agreement could be signed in 2009. If this agreement allows the building of Israel’s temple on the Temple Mount, then it appears that this agreement would be the “confirmation of the covenant” that will mark the beginning of the final sev-en years to Armageddon.

Which is most likely to come first?Though we don’t see a clear answer to this

question in scripture, it appears logical that the Sixth Trumpet War might happen first. Here’s why:

It is difficult to envision a Middle East peace agreement holding and the temple being built on the Temple Mount at the same time that a war is raging that consumes one-third of the world’s population.

It seems more logical that the Euphrates River War will occur first. Then in the after-math of that war, the world would cry out for an end to the Middle East conflict and the empowerment of a true system of global gov-ernance. If a peace agreement were concluded after the world’s worst war and then Israel’s temple began to be built, it is easy to see why people would say, “Finally, peace and safety.”

Other things to expect in 2009

There are many other prophecies about the endtime that will continue to progress on an ongoing basis until the culmination of Satan’s plan at Armageddon.

Before the current economic crisis, a one-world economy was already far advanced. Regional economic unions such as the North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperative (APEC), the European Union (EU) and the African Union (AU), had formed through the years creating regional economic free-trade zones. Then the World Trade Organization (WTO) was formed and has become a virtual one-world economic union.

Since the present economic crisis, world leaders are calling unabashedly for the cre-ation of a global economic czar with real power to oversee all of the financial institu-

tions of the world. This will undoubtedly be implemented. As the world’s economies be-come ever more tightly intertwined, political union will inevitably follow.

The United Nations is being considered more and more as a bonafide world govern-ment. However, two major complaints have been heard continually over the last few years.

Nations have complained because the “Big Five” continues to hold absolute veto power over decisions of the United Nations. Other member nations insist that the makeup of the world is dramatically different today than it was 60 years ago when the UN was formed. Nations such as India, the world’s second most populace nation, and Japan, the world’s second economic power, have no permanent representation on the UN Security Council. Considering the composition of the Secu-rity Council was placed on the agenda of this year’s General Assembly.

There have also been stringent complaints that the U.S. has made unilateral decisions concerning world affairs, rather than allowing these decisions to be made multilaterally. Ba-rack Obama has promised that he will move the U.S. toward multilateral decision-making. Of course, what this means is that decisions will be made by the United Nations, rather than by the United States. Once our world be-comes adjusted to being run this way, we will be in one-world government. We can expect much movement toward world government throughout 2009.

The enactment of international environ-mental treaties is seen as one of the main issues that will entangle the nations of the world together. Since we all breathe the same air and drink the same water, globalists say that we must have global laws to regulate and protect our environment.

The world has been very frustrated dur-ing the Bush administration because Presi-dent Bush refused to sign the Kyoto Climate Change Treaty. Barack Obama is in favor of climate change legislation and believes a cap and trade system for carbon emissions should be implemented to “save the planet.” Now that the world’s number one nation is on board, the world community intends to sign a new environmental treaty at the United Na-tions Climate Change Conference in Copen-hagen in December of 2009. This treaty will be very invasive, controlling every aspect of American life.

Expect the concept of Interfaithism to con-tinue to grow throughout 2009. The media, colleges and every venue of life where public opinion is shaped will be enlisted to educate the peoples of the world on the value of inter-faith understanding.

President Obama has referred repeatedly in his speeches to the danger of excessive religious zealotry. Of course, the governing



elite will determine what religious devotion is excessive and what is not. This concept will ultimately determine which religions should be accepted and which of them should be out-lawed during the reign of the Antichrist.

Building a system capable of numbering, tracking and controlling every human being on earth is a daunting task. In order for such a system to be ready by the time of the planned implementation of the New World Order, ev-ery year will need to count.

The United Nations has set the goal of issu-ing standardized ID cards to every person on earth by 2010. Consequently, many nations will be attempting to perfect their ID systems during 2009.

U.S. Homeland Security has established the deadline of December 31, 2009 for states to comply to the standards set by the UN for identification documents. The U.S. national ID system utilizes the drivers’ licenses and is called the Real ID.

Americans have resisted a national ID card for 230 years. We understand that being

forced to carry ID papers is one of the key stepping stones toward loss of freedom and into a totalitarian form of government. Con-sequently, eleven states have now passed laws against implementing the national ID card in their states. Another ten states have passed resolutions against the national ID. Twenty-one states have said, “We don’t want this numbering, tracking system.

Will Real ID be allowed to die by the Obama administration? We certainly hope so. How-ever, as of right now, Real ID is still the law.

If the Real ID is defeated, we will have to be careful not to relax. Already, big government

has moved to replace it with another mecha-nism of control—E-Verify. E-Verify doesn’t force the carrying of an ID card, but it does force the inclusion of every American in a na-tional database. An individual must be in that database in order to hold a job.

E-Verify is being promoted as the answer to eliminating the taking of American jobs by illegal immigrants. Should people who work in America be legal? Yes. If we would control our borders, everyone in America would be le-gal. Can we control our borders? Absolutely. The government has simply chosen not to.

What’s wrong with using a database to grant or deny the right to hold a job? If the government can deny permission to work for one reason, they can also deny permission to work for another reason—such as being a re-ligious extremist. Denying the right to work is denying the right to buy or sell. We all know what the Bible says about that!

Abolish the database, enforce the borders, let freedom reign! It’s worked for the last 230 years. It will work now!

Mark of the beast in 2009? No. Prepara-tions being made for the mark of the beast in 2009? You’d better believe it!

The Lisbon Treaty—the constitution of the European Union, was ratified by 25 of the 27 member nations of the EU in 2008. If the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland ratify the treaty during 2009, the prophesied rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire will be complete. This appears likely to happen. If this does come to pass, a European president will be elected in 2010. Remember, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will come out of this reborn Holy Roman Empire.

Barack Obama promised during his presi-dential campaign that he would work for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). This would mean that same-sex couples married in Massachusetts would have to be recognized as married by every state in the nation. They could file joint federal tax returns, forcing the U.S. government to rec-ognize sodomy as a legitimate lifestyle.

The Democratic Party intends to pass a hate crime law that will give special rights to homosexuals. Just such a law in Canada has resulted in fines against a printer that conscientiously objected to printing promo-tional materials for lesbians. A fine was levied against a Christian photographer who refused to do the photography for a gay wedding. A man placed a small ad in a newspaper list-ing Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13. The scriptures were not even written out. Two ho-mosexuals were offended and filed suit. The man running the ad was forced to pay $1,500 to each of them.

You can be sure that the gay lobby will con-tinue its aggressive attacks on Judeo-Christian morality in 2009.

As you can see, prophetic fulfillment will continue in 2009. As Christians we will pray and fight against all the developments that are against godliness and morality. Not all na-tions will fall under the absolute power of the Antichrist. Some nations will defend Israel and serve as a base for worldwide evangelism in these last times. May the United States of America be one of those! e

God showed Abraham the Promised Land in Genesis 13:14-18. He told him to walk through the land because He was going to give this land to him. One particular lo-cation in Canaan stood out to Abraham as the ideal spot to set up camp and to worship—Hebron. It became a very special place to Abraham…a refuge for his soul where he could find peace of mind. The meaning behind the name Hebron denotes an

alliance. Thus, God drew Abraham into a special relationship as His close friend. Genesis 23 tells us that, when Sarah was 127 years old, she died in Hebron. Naturally, Abra-

ham needed a good cave in which to bury her, so he went to Ephron the Hittite who had just what he needed. Since Ephron already had deep respect for Abraham, he offered to donate the land. Abraham refused to take it without fair payment. He insisted on giving Ephron what the land was worth—400 shekels of silver. Abraham wanted the deal to be official and without question. This gives us Biblical evidence that, from this point forward, Hebron in Canaan belonged to Abraham. To further show that this was without dispute, Abraham, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob and Leah were all buried in the same cave in Hebron. With all of its rich history, Hebron remains the city of the patriarchs to this day.

Hebron was the first capital of Israel—even before Jerusalem! When David became king—first of Judah, then of all Israel—he ruled from Hebron for seven years. Afterward, he conquered Jerusalem, moving his headquarters there.

Fast Forward to Rapid FufillmentNow roll the tape forward a few thousand years to present-day Israel. Travel nineteen miles south

of Jerusalem, and you will reach historic Hebron, the largest city in Judea–Samaria today. The global media calls this area the West Bank or the occupied territories.

Living in Hebron are approximately 166,000 Palestinians and a mere 500 Israelis. Things seem to be significantly out of balance in light of Abraham’s covenant. What happened to the promise? Why has it been so difficult for Israel to retain her claim to the land?

Enter the Global CommunityWe begin to understand the root of the

Arab-Israeli conflict when we realize that today the United Nations believes Israel is unlawfully occupying the Judea-Sama-ria geographical areas. This is why you will hear the media refer to these lands as the “occupied territories.” However, the land legitimately belongs to the Israelis because God made a covenant with Abra-ham that the land would belong to him and his descendants after him forever. Unfortunately, most globalists do not give much credence to the Torah (the Hebrew Bible), or the promises contained in the book of Genesis.

The global community believes that, in order for Israel to make true peace with the Arabs, they must surrender Biblical land taken in the 1967 war. Time and time again, the UN General Assembly has voted in favor of making Israel sur-render land to the Palestinians. At the same time the global community contin-ues to twist Israel’s arm to forfeit precious land, where there are Jews who still live in Judea-Samaria and are holding fast to God’s covenant. Such is the case with Hebron because it is nestled in the heart of the Promised Land.

Like the leaders of the world commu-nity, Israel’s leaders also do not take the commandments and promises of God seriously. Israel’s political leaders have endorsed the view that there must be a Palestinian state established in the area of Judea-Samaria. However, everyone knows that Palestinians do not have the ability to govern themselves. Most Israe-lis understand that it will be years before a viable economy can be functional and true rule-of-law can be established by the Palestinians in the West Bank.

Consequently, international leaders have been giving much consideration late-ly to an interim solution to this problem. They have been discussing placing NATO troops in Judea-Samaria until Palestin-ians can govern them-selves. NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and is the military al-liance made up of 26 countries from Europe and North America. In recent years, it has essentially become the military arm of the world community.

Judea-Samaria is the geographical area from which Jesus said the Great Tribula-

tion would begin. Turning this area over to the Palestinians and inviting world government troops to “keep the peace” appears to be leading perfectly into the fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy.

What is All the Noise About?Why not just give in to United Nations’

demands and be done with it—just evacu-ate Hebron? On the surface this idea may seem plausible, but in reality, several

Palestinian leaders have made divisive statements toward Israel which leave us wondering if they are really serious about making genuine peace. Saying uncle will not solve anything. The so-called “Land

for Peace” concept is only a mirage result-ing in Israel winding up with the short end of the stick. Many Israeli leaders do not base their decisions on the Bible, so they are ignorantly bowing

under the pressure of world government, demanding that their own Jewish people leave Hebron. In fact, when Israeli secu-rity forces recently made 200 Jewish set-tlers evacuate the Beit Hashalom House or “Peace House” in Hebron, the United Nations sang their praises. However, they were not prepared for the settler backlash that would follow.

Perhaps they should have paid closer attention to history and remembered the disaster of the 2005 Gaza evacuation. This was part of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s unilateral disengagement plan, which re-sulted in approximately 8500 Jews being expelled from their homes by Israel’s mili-tary. The lesson learned from this night-mare is that reli-gious Jews will not passively sit by and allow their rightful Biblical in-heritance to be stolen.

Consider what was re-cently reported about He-bron by the highly influential Economist magazine, known as the periodical of kings and presidents:

“Violence over an ancient city could have dire con-sequences. A vaunted ‘fight unto death’ by Jewish militants holed up in a dis-puted building in Hebron, a city on the Palestinian West Bank that is venerated by both Jews and Muslims, ended in their quick and relatively easy eviction by Israeli police on December 4th. But the Israeli police and army failed to prevent a subsequent splurge of violence against Palestinians in the city and elsewhere in the West Bank, which Israel’s outgoing Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, termed a ‘pogrom’.”

Merriam-Webster defines a pogrom as, “an organized massacre of helpless people;

specifically: a massacre of Jews.” Accord-ing to public radio and the British Broad-casting Corporation, Olmert recently said this to Cabinet members,

“As a Jew, I was ashamed at the scenes of Jews opening fire at innocent Arabs in Hebron. There is no other definition than the term ‘pogrom’ to describe what I have seen.”

While we certainly would agree that Olmert is right that there is no excuse for this kind of violent behavior coming from his own people, we do have prophetic n e w s for the P r i m e M i n - i s t e r :

J e s u s clearly s t a t e d that a p o g r o m of Arabs against the Jews is coming soon in the area of Judea-Samaria. Jesus said in Mathew 24:16,

“Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains.” In verse 21 he said, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the

world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” According to Zechariah 14:2, after for-

ty-two months of great tribulation, all na-tions will invade Jerusalem. Sorry to say this Israel, but according to the prophe-cies, some very difficult circumstances lie just ahead.

Hebron Fulfulling Prophecy

The Hebron evacuation is a significant milestone towards the prophesied Confir-mation of the Covenant, which launches the final 7 years to Armageddon and sets in motion the Antichrist’s ascent to global power. According to the prophecy in Dan-iel 9:27, the Antichrist will confirm the covenant of Genesis 15:18 with Israel.

The confirmation of the covenant will settle the

final borders be-tween Israel and the

Palestinians, and will determine the final sta-

tus of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. President Bush launched

renewed efforts to accomplish this goal at the Annapolis

Peace Conference in 2007. His stated plan was to

have the treaty finalized by the time he leaves
