He who comes to mewill never be hungry
will never be thirstyHe who believes
in me
of LifeI am the Bread
This is their ChurchThis is their
village
Then they walked four hours home
They walked four hours to worship
With no lightsIn the dark
The well serves 10,000 people
They wake up at three AM and walk seven kilometers
to the nearest safe well.
Then they walk seven kilometers home with a large bucket of water on their heads before they start their day
The line is often very long
They meet in their house
Sometimes they don’t even have a church
Or under a treeOr in their yard
Or running waterThey have no
electricity
Is their bathroomThis
Wherever I went they asked for just one thing:
But wherever they are their faces just glow with love for the Lord
“Please pray for us, for the work is very hard.”
Or walking on unpaved roads for hours to reach a congregation
They don’t mean having the church meet in their home
Or even giving the last of their food money to pay for the medical
bills of a fellow pastor’s family.
They want to share the gospel with them all.
They mean that their country has so many more people who need the love and hope of a relationship with Jesus
Christ.
Praying is the least that we can do
