PILLAR OF FIRE AND PILLAR OF CLOUD

• Exodus.40: 36-38 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and

fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

HOW LONG TABERNACLE WAS IN USE

• Acts 7: 44-45 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David

God hath set some in the Church, first the apostles, secondarily the prophets, thirdly the teachers, after that miracles, then healings, help, governments (1.Cor. 12: 28) That thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave in the church of the living God (1. TABERNACLE

God who desires to dwell among his people

• Mt.Sinai- the law (Ex.19: 18-19) x Desire to make a tent(Ex.25:8)• Spake.. from tabernacle (Lev.1:1) x Dwelt among us.. (Jn.1: 14)• From midst of cherubim-Ex.25:22 x Word become flesh.. (Jn.1: 14)
