Biodegradable and recycling plastic, 23rd March 2014: Field trip to Tauwhare to visit and learn about properties of plastic and its conversion to fuel for better living and for the environment. This was done in order to help raise awareness about the environment. Lake clean up, 13th April 2014: An EHV and Teen Youth initiative, based on the module from term 1 on Right Conduct, or activities based on right action.

We aim to transform the Youth and the community they live in by interacting and introducing a Community based values programme package. This Service will all be cost-free.

Visits included meet up sessions and interactive games organized to improve the bond, interaction & unity between the youth.

The youth of Mangakino in turn are visiting Hamilton this year in May 2014. The youth of Mangakino come from a difficult social background affected by gangs, drugs, violence and alcohol abuse. It is our hope to inspire these youth to lead purposeful lives and lighten the burdens of society through the message of Love. The youth were well received and feedback was positive. Community Adoption Program (CAP) has started in Hamilton by making roads into one of the primary schools under volunteer assist program. Currently one of our members attends the school twice a week to assist students that need extra help.
