SEGREGATION IN THE USA
Definition
Segregation: separation of different racial group in daily life. Laws aproved the segregation during long time.
all is divided inequally between Black and White people: job , hobby, transport, …
Restaurant, theatre, bar, bus … were reserved to one kind of people : white or colored people
Labour market divided in two part
White have « better » job than black people
Black people have hard job
Violence on colored people was « legal »
Lynching was currentWhite people wasn’t
arrested if they hurt black people.
