``Don't judge each day by the harvest

you reap, but by the seeds you plant`` - Robert Louis Stevenson

Page 2: Seeds of growth

A seed is scattered on the ground –It is left alone

– and yet it grows

Page 3: Seeds of growth

An ancient story tells us that this is how God

works

Page 4: Seeds of growth

Small seeds are scattered,

they grow, and become great things

Page 5: Seeds of growth

This is how we feel when we are scattered, when we have

too much to do, when life

overwhelms us

Page 6: Seeds of growth

When you feel this way think about

this

Page 7: Seeds of growth

Scattering causes rays of sunlight to be redirected to a new direction after hitting a particle in the atmosphere

Page 8: Seeds of growth

This factor is what

causes our sky to look

blue

Page 9: Seeds of growth

If scattering did not occur

in our atmosphere, the daylight

sky would be black.

Page 10: Seeds of growth

Seems like scattering

is significant.

Page 11: Seeds of growth

So be scattered…Give things

over to God and let them

be

Page 12: Seeds of growth

Don`t despair when things don't

work out. ``Every failure or adversity has the

seed of an equivalent or greater benefit``.- Napoleon Hill

Page 13: Seeds of growth

Knowing how to give things over

to God and being able to leave them there is

essential to our spiritual health.

Page 14: Seeds of growth

This is not necessarily

difficult, thought it does not feel easy – learning to let things be

is a constant practice.

Page 15: Seeds of growth

There are lots of things you can`t control .

You can control how you behave.

Page 16: Seeds of growth

Sometimes we get so busy, trying to figure

out where we are going and how we will get there, that we feel

scattered, and when that happens…take heart… for it is in

scattering that God’s work is done.

“Think small.

Planting tiny seeds in the small space

given you Can change the whole

world or, At the very least, your

view of it." - Linus Mundy

Page 18: Seeds of growth

This is our faith tradition, not a

book of answers but a life of

question…best summed up with

this reminder

Page 19: Seeds of growth

"Only God can make a tree,

but I'm in charge of seeds and weeds!" -

Keep working folks, whatever comes before your each

day… however small or insignificant it

may seem... just keep planting…and God will keep

things growing

May you be blessed

todayAnd know that you

are a blessing to

others.
