Dealing With Unforgiveness
Ephesians 4:32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God
forgave you.
ForgivenessForgiveness is not based on
the person’s actions, just the statement alone
Dealing With Unforgiveness
1.Take it seriously, assume responsibility, acknowledge it as a sin and confess it to God
2.Lay our anger down3.Begin praying for the other person,
confess it to them if they are aware of your bitterness
4.Refuse to rehash the same old issue…this must be forgiven and canceled in the same way our sins are.
How to Know When You HAVE Forgiven1.When your feelings toward the other
person have changed. When you see them, the resentment is gone.
2.You feel concern for them, for their spiritual welfare.
