II. The Creatures of Daniel’s Dream (7:2-8)

A. The Winged Lion = The Babylon Empire (7:4)

B. The Lopsided Bear = Medo-Persian Empire (7:5)

C. The Four Headed Leopard =The Greek Empire (7:6)

D. The Terrifying Fourth Beast = The Roman Empire

This little horn is a future world ruler whom Scripture also calls the “the coming prince”(9:26) “the king who will do whatever he wants” (11:36) “the man of lawlessness” “the son of destruction” (1 Th.2:3) “the beast” (Rev. 12:1-10) and the “Antichrist” (1 Jn. 2:18)

B. Daniel Saw a Judgment Scene (7:11-12)

IV. The Coronation of Christ in Daniel’s Dream (7:13-14; 26-27)

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will reign for ever and ever.”
