On April 11th, 2014 – Rev. Miyamichi visited Our Hollywood Regional Center “home gardening” at Highland Community Garden. This land was offered to the residents of the City of Hollywood. 225 square meter land space, is provided for our Church.
Our purpose with this land is to encourage all members and the people from the community to practice home gardening. We started with only 2 families in the area, and now, after 18 months, more than 35 families are growing produce at the Highland community and about 50 members began Nature Farming at their homes motivated by our Izunome Garden.
Rev. Miyamichi encouraged the members to continue promoting the home gardening and to practice planting together the “seeds of salvation”.
