Vestry Register

• The Register was updated in February:– 4 names were added, and – 4 names were removed.

• The total number on the register is now 187, the same as last year.

Congregations at Sunday 10.30am service

Congregations are down 16% on average each month.

The number attending the 8.30am service has remained consistent, as have the numbers attending the Wednesday morning service.

• Sunday Club– Meets most Sundays in the Parish Centre or in

Church• Study Group

– Meets monthly in Dave and Olwen’s house: fifteen people or so attend regularly

Youth Clubs

• The Hub, a new approach to the Youth Clubs, launched in October:– Friday nights

• 6.30pm to 8.00pm for 7 – 11 years old • 7.30pm on for 12+

• Junior Youth Club– One Wednesday afternoon a month for

junior/senior infants

The Summer Fête took place on 13th June: thanks to the very many people who helped. This year’s Fête is on 12th June.

• Back to Church Sunday, 25th September– Letter delivered to every family in the Parish– 174 in congregation

Our second Christmas Fair was planned for 5th December but had to be postponed to 12th due to snow: many thanks again to Santa and all those who helped in any way.

• Sincere thanks to all who helped in any way whatsoever in the running of the parish during the year, including (in no particular order)

– All leaders and members of Parish organisations,

– All involved in raising funds for the Parish,– Those who keep the Church clean and decorate

it so beautifully,– The Churchwardens (and Churchwarden

Emeritus Ted Jones) and Glebewardens,– Jack Storey and 8.30am crew and those who

assist at funerals and weddings,– John Rowden, and the Choir members, and

Sandra Maxwell for filling in for John,– The Chalice Bearers,– Jean Acheson and all who help out at Sunday

Club,– Lynn Boyle for doing the service sheets,– The Needs Group ,– All those who run the Youth Clubs on Fridays

and Wednesdays,– Those who visit the sick and elderly,– The members of the Select Vestry, in particular

Rev’d Deane, the Secretary, Bruce Maxwell, and the Treasurer, Nadine Watters,

– The hardworking members of the PCMC.
