The Logos – John 1:1-5, words matter The Light of the World – John 1:6-13, Jesus is that light
& John bears witness of that What if God was one of us? – John 1:14, the
incarnation Can God be seen? – John 1:14-18, we dealt with the
issue of God being seen both philosophically & theologically, introduced the topic of a theophany
A voice in the wilderness – John 1:19-25, we introduced Jesus’ cousin John the Baptist

Baptism Part #1 – John 1:26-28, we introduced the topic of baptism as a symbol of our death & resurrection in Christ. This is done as an act of faith & obedience after confession of Christ as savior & Lord.
Baptism Part #2 – John 1:29-34, we examined some old testament symbols of baptism thereby showing that baptism wasn’t a new doctrine but was rooted in early scripture
Resurrection Sunday – we took a short break from John went to Luke 24:1-12 to examine the impact of the resurrection of Jesus & what it means to us as believers

The calling of Peter & Andrew – John 1:35-42, we spoke on their calling & touched on our view of calling while introducing the subject of evangelism & missions as a whole.
The Power of the Gospel – John 1:40-51, we spoke on the fact that Jesus called 2 disciples who in turn brought 2 more to him. We also transitioned in the topic of evangelism & our responsibility to evangelize.
The Wedding at Cana – John 2:1-12, we examined Jesus authority over creation when he turned water into wine & introduced the doctrine of Creatio Ex Nihilo
Jesus is the temple – John 2:12-22, we examined Jesus authority in the temple & his authority over life & death as he tells the Jews that he (Jesus) is the temple
