B.B. Investment Casting is an ISO 9001 : 2008, AD 2000 Merkblatt & PED 97/23/EC certified company by TUV NORD.

We have Installed Medium Frequency Furnaces 150kgs & 200kgs each of Electrotherm India Ltd, We have shot blasting Machine make Patel Furnace & Forging Pvt. Ltd. Baroda

Finish with close dimension tolerance. Also the quality control wing is strengthened with the help of Q6 Bruker Quantron GMBH, Germany make on line spectrometer, Universal Testing Machine(UTM), IMPACT Testing Machine make by FIE Pune. We have also Wax Testing Facility.

INVESTMENT CASTING PROCESS :

The investment-casting process, also called the lost-wax process, was first used during the period 4000-3500 B.C. The pattern is made of wax or a plastic such as polystyrene. The sequences involved in investment casting are shown in Figure. The pattern is made by injecting molten wax into a metal die in the shape of the object.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES :-Melting Furnaces

Coating Process :The wax assembly is coated with a ceramic shel l by repeated d ipping in ceramic s lurr ies and A l ternately in dry beds of sand and c lays, heavy or th ick sect ions are features of any part , addi t ional coat ing are to g ive added strength to the shel l . Thus e l iminat ing bulg ing or d istort ion of the cast ing to complete th is stage, the ceramic shel l i s heated and the wax removed by De-waxing, leaving a hol low shel l . The most cruc ia l stage of the shel l ing process is the pr imary coat ing, where a very fine grade of sand is used. This in turn resul ts in a cast ing with excel lent reproduct ion deta i l and the des ignated surface finish.

We have equipped our laboratory with( Fe. & Ni. Base ) Spectrometer Make of M/s. Quontron GERMANY to analyze chemical composition of Incoming Scrape as well as Finish Material Testing. We check each an every heat before Pouring Metal in to Shell.

2 - Physical Testing :
