1 Financial Update Everyone Support the mission of the church as we approach the end of the fiscal year

Support UPC financially and give money

Today is close of 3rd quarter. If everyone gave just $20 more per week (or 4 lattes) we would come closer to our goal.

2 Prayer Cards Everyone We're inviting our whole church family ‐ from youth to university students to older adults ‐ to come together and pray for 40 days this Lent, bearing one another's burdens with honesty before God. Pray, be prayed for.

People to fill out prayer request cards and people to take prayer requests. Cards are in the pew pockets or signup online.

Many in our area are facing difficulties in life right now, from job loss to health issues. For example, Seattle's unemployment rate is at 7.4% which up 2% from last year.

3 Work Days Everyone Work days support our summer deputees mission engagement around the world

Fill out a form to hire a college student or donate money to pay for the college students to work for someone else

35 students are going to 9 countries this summer on world deputation, where they'll spend eight weeks supporting missionaries.  UPC has been sending university students on summer missions for 57 years. We still need to place 450‐500 workers this year for work days to help fund their trips.

1 Palm Sunday Special Offering Everyone The Palm Sunday Special offering supports Urban and Global Missions as they spread the Good News here in Seattle and around the world

Use the insert to donate to Urban and Global Missions. 

Globally, UPC sends and supports 100 missionaries who serve in 44 countries. In addition, U&GM has developed 48 ministry partnerships in Seattle and throughout the world.  

2 Holy Week Services Everyone Prepare for Easter  Maundy Thursday service, Good Friday serivce, Saturday Vigil all at 7:30 p.m.; more info can be found on the church website

Good Friday attracts a lot of people who are searching and don't necessarily come to UPC or any other church during the rest of the year.

3 Registration Card Everyone Registration cards enable us to have an accurate count of members. This is done a couple times a year.

Fill out the registration card. Included on the card is an space for people to tell us their story related to the 40 Days of Prayer and how their participation in it has impacted their life.

We have over 1100 people participating in the 40 Days of Prayer!
