Why prayer?
To help young people to chill out, address the imbalance of overworked and over stressed young people.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Make our minds and all our senses alert to seeing your strategies for the kingdom.
To choose your paths in salty service: to stand in the way of wrong, to prevent evil where we can see it rearing its head, to protect the weak, the poor, the left our, the pushed aside.

Bring out the strong salty flavours of your gospel in our lives, in our conversations, in our decisions, in our caring and our creating.

May our presence in our communities, our churches, our relationships be an agent of your healing. Heal the brokenness around us, and heal the wounds within us.
The best gift you can give children is time and conversation.
