Declare that ungodly aspirants are resisted from occupying public offices; pray that the Lord is reinstating godly ones. Pray that the resources and logistics required for them to be in power gravitate towards them as a matter of free course unhindered. Pray for the incumbency: that they are making righteous judgements and become an unbiased umpire during the electoral process and after the elections. Rebuke the spirit of violence and civil unrest in America.

king is a child and whose leaders are already drunk in the morning. Happy the land whose king is a nobleman and whose leaders work hard before they feast and drink, and then only to strengthen themselves for the tasks ahead!

America founding Fathers were known to be spiritual giants whose wisdom were founded on Christ, we'll pray that America President-elect will choose the path of the Word which is the only and lasting solution to the problem of the world. We'll declare that our elected officials will make righteous judgements befitting for governance.

• Proverbs 19 v 21(NIV): Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

We are praying that inspite of several plans in the hearts of the eventual President-elect, pray that the Lord, who controls the heart of a king, will cause His purpose to prevail through the emerged winner.

Proverbs 16 v 9(TLB): We should make plans—counting on God to direct us.

We’ll pray that as people set their hearts to vote, declare that their decisions will not be made on the basis of emotion, morality and not even from excellent debate speeches but voting according to conscience in line with the direction of God's will for this great nation especially in these last days; and pray that the Lord will direct the hearts of the electorates towards fulfilling His purpose.

ConclusionFather in the Name of the Lord Jesus, we thank you for this day. We thank you for blessing us with such a great nation as United State of America. We thank you for all the great Leaders, both present and past, that you have bless our nation with. As a nation we may have gone astray and attract your imminent wrath, we ask oh Lord that you grant us forgiveness of sin and guide our steps in the path of righteousness for your Name's sake. We ask that you prevent this great nation from nose-diving. We pray that your Will be prevailed over nation and thus become a great nation again. We pray that your Will prevails in the forthcoming national election. We pray that the election be free and fair. And we reject every act of manipulation and violence in the mighty Name of Jesus. Thank you Lord because our prayers and requests have come to you as a sweet savour, holy and acceptable unto you in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
