Come Now is the Time to Worship
Come, now is the time to worship.
Come, now is the time to give your heart.
Come, just as you are to worship.
Come, just as you are before your God . . . Come
One day every tongue will confess
you are God
One day every knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains
for those who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship.
Come, now is the time to give your heart.
Come, just as you are to worship.
Come, just as you are before your God . . . Come
One day every tongue will confess
you are God
One day every knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains
for those who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship.
Come, now is the time to give your heart.
Come, just as you are to worship.
Come, just as you are before your God . . . Come

Let Everything That Has Breath
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise You in the morning,Praise You in the evening,
Praise You when I'm young
And when I'm old.Praise You when I'm laughing,Praise You when I'm grieving,
Praise You every season of the soul.
If we could see how much You're worth,Your power, Your might,
Your endless love,Then surely we would never cease to
praise.

Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise You in the heavens, Joining with the angels,
Praising You forever and a day.Praise You on the earth now,
Joining with creation,Calling all the nations to Your praise.
If they could see how much You're worth,Your power, your might, your endless love,
Then surely they would
Never cease to praise.
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCHCOURAGEOUS LIVING IN THE FACE OF FEAR:OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF NOT MATTERING
May 1, 2011
John H. Selert
“Insecurities are about as useful as putting a pin back into a
grenade.”
– Brandon Boyd
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we
can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
1. Allow God To Embrace You.
“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called
children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for
you will not b shaken.” Isaiah 54:10
1. Allow God To Embrace You.
God’s Love Is Consistent.
God Love Is Unconditional.
“…I have called you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1
2. See Yourself As Belonging To God’s Family.
“His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us
to Himself through Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 1:5
“In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the
others.” Romans 12:5
3. Allow God To Encourage You.
“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good
hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and
word.” 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17
“What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be
afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.”
Luke 12:6, 7
“I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength
will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the
same to you…How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And
when I wake up, you are still with me!” Psalm 139:7-12, 17, 18
Give all your worries and cares to God; for he cares about what happens to you.”
1 Peter 5:7
4. Know That You Were Worth Dying For.
“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, no one is likely to die for a good person, though someone might be willing
to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s judgment. For since we
were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God—all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God.” Romans 5:6-11 (NLT)
5. Allow God To Empower You.
“For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians 2:13
“…be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18
“Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our
competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant”
2 Corinthians 3:5, 6 (NIV)
“Using the Scriptures, the person who serves God will be capable, having all that
is needed to do every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:17 (NCV)
“Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance
from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according
to his plan.” Ephesians 1:11
