3. The idea now is to relate some things you DO LIKE in
yourself, and then in others anything. 2 minutes each person. After
that, talk for 10 minutes about how much you appreciate yourself
and others for what they are. Then, a little video will show you
the power of positive outlook
4. You open doors, inviting others to come to your life, for
learning and sharing. Most of the time, opportunities will come to
you again and again. You will have the chance to experience an
adventure. JA will help you to grow more and more. What else? YES
does not apply when your values are to be compromised.
5. You close doors. Most of the time, you will lose future
opportunities. You miss the chance of daring. Too many NOs will
interrupt your personal development. What else? NO does apply when
your values are to be compromised.
6. Some things are really bad. They are negative and they hurt.
Sometimes we are not powerful enough to deal with negativity so we
accept it as it is. If that is the case, try this: Dont mourn. Go
through your sorrow with something like music, a nice environment
or something that touches your heart positively. Help others. There
are few tools that work as being a volunteer. Value what you lost
by working on recovering it. Dont worry about the physical aspects,
focus on feelings and emotions. Talk to a professional. If nothing
else is working
7. HOW TO CHANGE NEGATIVE INTO POSITIVE? A joke Humour is one
of the ways to change it. What else? Lets share our own experiences
on dealing with negative situations or aspects in our lives by
turning them into positive WE CAN ALWAYS CHANGE - INTO +
8. Humour. Relaxation. Arts, sports. Learning something
different. Commitments that please your heart. Actions with
meaning.
9. Get together in groups. Work on the case you have in your
hand. If it is something that does not happen to you, you can look
for another group or use your imagination a bit. Time to work on
each case: 15 minutes. Lets share the results.
10. The easiest way perhaps is using tools. The best way is to
go deep and understand the nature of negativity and positivity, and
make changes in the self. For that, we introduce you the ABC
method: Accept. Be appreciative. Celebrate.
11. Acceptance does not mean approval, but it is important to
accept the reality around. Even though it is a negative one.
Acceptance means embracing reality into your life through
reflection, contemplation, meditation, forgiveness, open dialogue
or any way you find useful for your life. When you accept reality,
changes start NO sends you into a world of illusion and
deception.
12. If you really want to experience success in your life and
moving forward, acceptance is only the first step. After that, you
have to start to appreciate whatever your situation is. The
principle behind is that EVERYTHING has something positive, you
just have to look into it. NO prevents you to enjoy that
possibility life is giving you.
13. The magic in your life will start after appreciating
whatever comes to you. And you will start to celebrate your life
fully. Enjoying every moment. NO prevents you to enjoy the
greatness of life.
14. You can do this exercise by yourself or with someone else
you choose. During 20 minutes, check in your life, both, present
and future possibilities. Focus on the negative aspects you can
see. Now, apply ABC by: Accepting the situation. How to do it? How
it is to have accepted it? Being appreciative. What is the good I
see in it? Celebrating. Visualize yourself celebrating that part of
the mosaic of your life.
15. Lets group ourselves. About 5 people per group. Through
some art theatre, songs, poem, drawing, painting, etc. show the
process of changing negativity into positivity. 15 minutes to
prepare. 3 minutes for each group to present.
16. What is meditation? How can meditation helps you in
relation to positivity? What will be the method for that?
17. There are many methods for meditation. It all depends on
what you want to achieve in your life. Raja Yoga is a simple,
practical and natural way of meditation. It is based in three main
exercises: Realization of the self + As a spiritual being, beyond
body. Connection with a powerful source. + An energy that matches
the self. Relationship and connection. + On the basis of
spirituality.
18. When you meditate, you are able to perceive reality
differently. And if the method is accurate, you will always
perceive the positive in everything. Meditation is a training for
your mind, so that it can generate positive thoughts and feelings
even under very stressful situations. Regular meditation helps you
to face obstacles, to heal, to forgive and to fulfil your aims in
life.
19. Sit comfortably, at a place and at a time without
interruptions. If you want, play some soft music and use soft or
natural light. Use your mind to think of yourself as a different
being, not what you see when you look at a mirror, but an energy, a
light. Experience yourself as that light and gradually, feel your
body relaxing. Now, get in touch with a supreme source of energy.
Visualize that as a spiritual sun, sending rays of peace, love and
other good qualities. Experience that energy coming into you,
becoming part of yourself. Talk to that energy. Feel it is more
than energy, it is a bein just like you. Lastly, let that energy
take over your body, healing and relaxing it even more. And come
back to the point where you notice your environment once
again.
20. Dont deny your negative feelings. Just watch how you behave
and when you have that; then, apply some of the tools to help with
it. Experiment with the power of JA. Look for situations when you
normally refuse what comes to you and try to accept them. Meditate
everyday. Even 5 minutes will give you lots of benefit. If you can,
go deeply into the subject, look for a place where you can learn
and practice it in a safe environment.
