1. Prosperity brings pleasure to God.
Psalm 35:27 (NKJV) 27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who
favour my righteous cause; And let them say continually, "Let the Lord be magnified, Who
has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."
Genesis 1:26 (NKJV) 26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them
have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all
the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
2. Grasp God’s Vision
Galatians 3:13-18 (NKJV) 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the
law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that
we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
3. Prosperity with a purposeBlessed to be a blessing.
16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to
seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years
later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it
should make the promise of no effect. 18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of
promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Now the Lord had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your
father's house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you
And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in
you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
Four practical ways to live under God’s prosperity
Genesis 1:28 (NKJV) 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth
and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over
every living thing that moves on the earth."
1. First receive God’s blessing
Luke 10:5 (NKJV) 5 But whatever house you enter, first say,
'Peace to this house.'
2. Decide to be a blessing
3. God is our source.
Heb 11:6
‘6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.’
4. Believe God is who He says He is
"Compared to 1994, average real incomes have been
rising. However, South Africa still ranks among the most economically unequal societies in the world.
Furthermore, while the poverty indicators show slight improvement over time, just more than half of South
Africans - 52.3% according to Stats SA - still live below the poverty line of R577. Also, 13.3% live in inordinate
poverty.

Ezekiel 16:49 (NKJV) 49 Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She
and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the
hand of the poor and needy.
Ezekiel 16:49 (NIV) 49 “… they did not help the poor and needy.
