citiesglobal ties and national influence. Globalization has caused
large cities to be more similarthan different around the world.
Cities have become thedestination of the Diaspora as rural peoples
move toglobal cities. Potential for global harvest represented by
21st Centurycities is un-parrelled due to the diversity of
peoplescoming to cities. But we are winning our cities? 5. The
