“Now, near the Winter Solstice, it is good to light candles. All the nice meanings of bringing light to the world can be beautiful.

But perhaps we are concentrating on lighting the world because we don’t know how to light up our own lives.” ~ Ralph Levy Photo by Scott Robinson; Source: Flickr.com

“Christmas reminds us we are not alone. We are not unrelated atoms, bouncing and ricocheting amid aliens, but are a

part of something which holds and sustains us. … Christmas shows us the

ties that bind us together, threads of love and caring, woven in the simplest and strongest way within the family.”

A Christmas candle is a lovely thing; It makes no noise at all, But softly gives itself away While quite unselfish, it grows small.

“Christmas is not in tinsel and lights and outward show. The secret lies in an inner glow. It’s lighting a fire inside the heart. Good will and joy a vital part. It’s higher thought and

a greater plan. It’s glorious dream in

the soul of man.” ~ Wilfred A. Peterson

May there always be light in your life and love in your heart. Forever strive to move out of darkness

and into the light.

We pray that the light always lead our life so we can shine in the dark world.

May the lights of Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Christmas usher in a better world for all.

As a single candle has the ability to light many more candles, may we continue to illuminate the

lives of those around us.
