Here then, is illustrated the very real problem of how one may have faith, but still be hindered by doubts

The story also illustrates some of the things that can cause doubts and weaken faith

But coming back to verse 24 and this father’s prayer, we see that the thing that can strengthen our faith and overcome our doubts is by given all our attention and trust to the Lord
