bull Roberta Potts I believe we are going to escape Gods coming wrath One reason I believe that is because Jesus picked two particular Bible personalities when He said the end times are going to be like the days of Noah and Lot Both these guys lived centuries apart The only thing I know they really had in common was that they both faced a coming cataclysm and they both escaped

bull Certainly it would have been different if Jesus had said it is going to be just like the days of Jeremiah After all Jeremiah predicted a terrible terrible upheaval which he didnt escape He had to live through it

bull Or Jesus could have said the last days were going to be like the days of Daniel Well Daniel was taken captive during that same upheaval and he didnt escape

bull Jesus didnt say those days were going to be like the days of Jeremiah nor the days of Daniel No He saidhellip

bull helliptheyrsquod be like the days of Noah and Lot both of who were removed from the coming destructionbull The proof thats kind of the capstone for me is when Jesus tells us to always be on the watch and pray that we

might be counted worthy to escape So Im going to do just that and be watching and praying because I want to escape

bull Dr Reagan Youve taken that right out of Luke 2136 There Jesus says we are to pray that we are to escape the coming Tribulation I have people attacking me all the time accusing Youre just an escapist I plead guilty Jesus tells us there in Luke 21 to be an escapist I pray to escape as others through time have prayed

bull People will also say You just dont want to suffer for the Lord I reply When you take a stand for the Lord Jesus Christ you are going to suffer for the Lord The Bible says there is going to be tribulation for believers But Im talking about escaping the Great Tribulation Im not talking about the tribulation that were going to experience as a result of harassment and persecution Were certainly going to experience that No were talking about escaping the Great Tribulation as described in Luke 21

bull The most important point that I would make concerning the timing of the Rapture is imminence The Bible says that the Lord can return at any moment Were to watch for His return at any moment When you stop and think about what we call the Second Coming certainly that cant happen at any moment because there are too many prophecies that have to be fulfilled before the Second Coming occurs But theres not one that has to be fulfilled before the Rapture occurs Im never told to watch for the Antichrist Im told to watch for Jesus Christ

bull When we go to the Bible and read about certain end times events some of them clearly sound nuclear in nature Take for instance the destruction of Damascus in Isaiah 1714 which goes In the evening sudden terror Before the morning they are gone Isaiah prophesies that one day the oldest city in the world mdash Damascus mdash will be destroyed in one day and we know from Isaiah 179 that it will be because of Israel a nuclear armed country Well how do you destroy an entire city in just one day Nuclear weapon There really isnt any other weapon out there that could annihilate a city so quickly

bull Another possible reference to the use of nuclear weapons in the end times is take for instance Zechariah 1412 which reads This is the plague in which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem This is in reference to Armageddon where were also told Their flesh will rot while they are standing on their feet Their eyes will rot in their sockets and their tongues will rot in their mouth This is why in Luke 2126 Jesus said Men will faint from terror apprehensive of what is coming on the world The heavenly bodies will be shaken

bull Another possibility lets also take a look at the Sixth Seal Judgment in Revelation 614-15 The sky receded like a scroll rolling up and every mountain and island was removed from its place Then the kings of the earth the princes the generals the rich the mighty and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains Certainly that disaster could be supernatural in origin but each of these disasters was explained by a First Century man John explaining what he was seeing And all of these disasters are described as exactly what nuclear weapons would do

bull For the Antichrist to wipe out 15 billion people at the beginning at the Tribulation merely from conventional war he wouldnt need a lot of people with guns as nuclear weapons would do the job very quickly There isnt that much time to kill all those people with a conventional war

bull I could read other verses that hint at nuclear warfare as Revelation is ripe with verses which talk about the annihilation of the planet and the resulting effects that sound very nuclear radiation in origin As a matter of fact when you look at the people by the end of the Tribulation they are covered in sores and boils which is very much like radiation contamination Also the Earths ecosystem is almost all destroyed which couldnt be from conventional war but would have to be from nuclear war along with whatever natural God sends like asteroids and whatnot

bull We are told in 2 Thessalonians 23-7 that when the Church is removed so is the Restrainer The Holy Spirits work through the Church will be raptured out of this world so that mans inhibition can be let loose The restraint against mankind using nuclear warfare will no longer be there anymore so man will feel free to use them The world is facing a very definite nuclear holocaust

bull Brian Thomas In Revelation 614-15 that you shared to me that passage seems like the best Scripture describing nuclear warfare With the sky receding like a scroll that sounds like a mushroom cloud Amazing things are going to take place during the Tribulation and that I believe includes nuclear warfare

wars during the Tribulation that reveal most of the earth being destroyed Truly horrific times lie aheadbull Earthquakes mdash The third sign would involve earthquakes Jesus said there would be many earthquakes that would shatter the earth They would point to the last days as they grew more frequent and intense True to prophecy the world has since 1985 seen a 70

increase in earthquakes The earth is shaking up The worst earthquake in recent history of course has been the one that hit Japan in 2011bull Famine mdash The fourth end times sign would be famine The world would see famines spread across the planet People all over are starving Weve lived to witness great famines across the world such as in Ethiopia and North Korea and other nationsbull Plagues mdash Jesus gave the fifth sign which would be plagues Disease and subsequent death would result from a growing amount of plagues It seems that just as our doctors figure out a cure for one another disease pops up its ugly head causing more and more

that Jesus will be coming very soonbull Focus on Jerusalem mdash There is also a ninth sign and that would be that the whole world would be focused on Jerusalem Every political body wants control of Jerusalem We are living to see that today as wellbull I would advise everyone to look up Luke 21 This chapter has a tremendous amount of insight into the end times It provides a nutshell-style view of the end time signs which prove that we are living in the season of the Lords returnbull Nate Herbst Absolutely There are a couple of other parallel passages to Luke 21 such as Matthew 24 These signs that Jesus gave us I think are outstandingly accurate and relevant We are seeing these signs happen even today Like you said the accuracy of Jesus

Answer Why does God allow earthquakes tornados hurricanes tsunamis typhoons cyclones mudslides wildfires and other natural disasters Tragedies cause many people to question Godrsquos goodness It is distressing that natural disasters are often termed ldquoacts of Godrdquo while no ldquocreditrdquo is given to God for years decades or even centuries of peaceful weather God created the whole universe and the laws of nature (Genesis 11) Most natural disasters are a result of these laws at work Hurricanes typhoons and tornados are the results of divergent weather patterns colliding Earthquakes are the result of the earthrsquos plate structure shifting A tsunami is caused by an underwater earthquake

The Bible proclaims that Jesus Christ holds all of nature together (Colossians 116-17) Could God prevent natural disasters Absolutely Does God sometimes influence the weather Yes as we see in Deuteronomy 1117 and James 517 Numbers 1630-34 shows us that God sometimes causes natural disasters as a judgment against sin The book of Revelation describes many events which could definitely be described as natural disasters (Revelation chapters 6 8 and 16) Is every natural disaster a punishment from God Absolutely not

In much the same way that God allows evil people to commit evil acts God allows the earth to reflect the consequences sin has had on creation Romans 819-21 tells us ldquoThe creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed For the creation was subjected to frustration not by its own choice but by the will of the one who subjected it in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of Godrdquo The fall of humanity into sin had effects on everything including the world we inhabit Everything in creation is subject to ldquofrustrationrdquo and ldquodecayrdquo Sin is the ultimate cause of natural disasters just as it is the cause of death disease and suffering

We can understand why natural disasters occur What we do not understand is why God allows them to occur Why did God allow the tsunami to kill over 225000 people in Asia Why did God allow Hurricane Katrina to destroy the homes of thousands of people For one thing such events shake our confidence in this life and force us to think about eternity Churches are usually filled after disasters as people realize how tenuous their lives really are and how life can be taken away in an instant What we do know is this God is good Many amazing miracles occurred during the course of natural disasters that prevented even greater loss of life Natural disasters cause millions of people to reevaluate their priorities in life Hundreds of millions of dollars in aid is sent to help the people who are suffering Christian ministries have the opportunity to help minister counsel pray and lead people to saving faith in Christ God can and does bring great good out of terrible tragedies (Romans 828)

am confused regarding the terminology of the Church Age and the Times of the Gentiles It seems like you are saying that they are different overlapping time periods ndash the Church Age started with Jesusrsquo resurrection and ends with the rapture but the Times of the Gentiles started with the destruction of the temple and continues through the 70th week right I guess Irsquom confused because I thought the 70th week was when God completed his plan for the Jewish people not the Gentiles

bull A I think the confusion is due to the fact that the Church is comprised mostly of people who were formerly Gentiles but the two terms are not synonymous Remember Paul said that once wersquore in Christ we are neither Jew nor Gentile (Gal 328) but are part of a new race of human (Ephes 214-16) called the Church (1 Cor 1032) The Church Age began at Pentecost and will end with the Rapture

bull The Times of the Gentiles began with King Nebuchadnezzar and will end with the 2nd Coming as symbolized in Nebuchadnezzarrsquos dream of Daniel 2 Remember how Danielrsquos interpretation of the dream indicated that Nebuchadnezzar had been given authority over all of mankind and even the animals (Daniel 236-38) Then he described 3 other gentile kingdoms (Persia Greece and Rome) that would rule the world after that until the Lord established a 5th Kingdom His own This will bring the Times of the Gentiles to a close In confirmation Jesus said that Jerusalem would be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 2124) In Rev 111-2 the phrase is repeated almost exactly showing that the Gentiles would trample on the Holy City for 42 months the duration of the Great Tribulation

bull While Godrsquos focus will shift to Israel during the last 7 years His purpose is to prepare them for the coming of His Kingdom while at the same time bringing judgment upon the Gentiles (Jeremiah 301-11)

symbolic of Israel and Jesusrsquo words were that it would henceforth bear no fruit forever how do we reconcile that with national Israel being in the millennial Kingdom obviously bearing fruit to the Lord ldquoHenceforthrdquo and ldquoforeverrdquo donrsquot leave any wiggle room for ldquoexcept in the millenniumrdquo

bull A This is a case where you have to be careful with literal vs symbolic interpretations The same Greek word that is translated ldquoforeverrdquo in the King James version of Mark 1114 can also mean for an age or a period of time The appropriate meaning comes from the context in which the word is used

bull In the literal interpretation the fig tree may never have borne fruit again In that case ldquohenceforthrdquo and ldquoforeverrdquo would convey the appropriate meaning But in the symbolic interpretation itrsquos also true that while Israel has borne no fruit in this age the nation will be fruitful in the next age the millennium So the alternate meaning ldquohenceforth in this agerdquo would be appropriate for the symbolic interpretation

Romans conquered Jerusalem and destroyed the temple In the midst of this turbulent time a Jewish person saw fit to place the money in a small ceramic box and bury it for safekeepingbull ldquoEvidently someone here feared the end was approaching and hid his property perhaps in the hope of collecting it later when calm was restored to the regionrdquo said one of the archaeologists involved in the excavationsbull Readers of the Gospels will no doubt recall Jesusrsquo Parable of the Talents in which a similar action occurs The story goes like thisbull ldquoFor it is as if a man going on a journey summoned his slaves and entrusted his property to them to one he gave five talents to another two to another one to each according to his ability Then he went away The one who had received the five talents went off at once

and traded with them and made five more talents In the same way the one who had the two talents made two more talents But the one who had received the one talent went off and dug a hole in the ground and hid his masterrsquos moneybull After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them Then the one who had received the five talents came forward bringing five more talents saying lsquoMaster you handed over to me five talents see I have made five more talentsrsquobull His master said to him lsquoWell done good and trustworthy slave you have been trustworthy in a few things I will put you in charge of many things enter into the joy of your masterrsquobull And the one with the two talents also came forward saying lsquoMaster you handed over to me two talents see I have made two more talentsrsquobull His master said to him lsquoWell done good and trustworthy slave you have been trustworthy in a few things I will put you in charge of many things enter into the joy of your masterrsquobull Then the one who had received the one talent also came forward saying lsquoMaster I knew that you were a harsh man reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not scatter seed so I was afraid and I went and hid your talent in the ground Here you have

outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teethrsquordquo (Matthew 2514-30 [NRSV])bull The third slave in the parable does basically the same thing the owner of these newly discovered bronze coins did bury them in the ground Evidently it must have been a reasonably common thing to dobull A HOARD OF BRONZE COINS DATING TO 70 CE DISCOVERED BY THE JERUSALEMndashTEL AVIV HIGHWAY copy VLADIMIR NIIHIN ISRAEL ANTIQUITIES AUTHORITYbull Whatrsquos interesting though is that the owner of the bronze coins buried them in the context of war He or she was living at a time when the Jewish nation was collapsing under the onslaught of Romersquos forces Judea was falling In the hope of surviving the calamity the owner

buried the coins in order to come back to them at a later timebull This action helps us understand Jesusrsquo Parable of the Talents a little better The dynamic at work in the parable is not merely economic investment but rather measures taken during a time of war Letrsquos unpack thisbull To begin with letrsquos notice the contextbull The parable comes near the tense culmination of Jesusrsquo ministry in Matthewrsquos Gospelbull On arriving in Jerusalem Jesus clears the moneychangers out of the temple (Matthew 2112ndash13)bull He tells the Parable of the Wicked Tenants (Matthew 2133ndash46) in which he takes aim at the Jewish leaders who also happened to be wealthy landowners Jesus uses the way they would no doubt have treated recalcitrant tenants on their lands to describe what God would

do to them because they were rejecting Jesus and plotting to kill himbull Jesus also puts the leaders in their place when they try to trap him with the question of paying taxes to Caesar (Matthew 2215ndash22) In Roman-occupied Judea the question of paying Roman taxes was an incendiary issue But using a coin with Caesarrsquos image on it Jesus

beats the leadership at their own game There are economic themes running throughout these incidents and in all cases they point to the villainy of the nationrsquos leaders They were sealing the fate of the nationbull Finally Jesus launches a verbal attack on the leaders before he laments over the future of Jerusalem (Matthew 23) Jesus unpacks this in Matthew 24 explaining that not one stone of the temple would remain upon another (Matthew 242) The nation was heading for

downfall and the people would find themselves in dire circumstances This was the result of their failuremdashchiefly on the part of the leadersmdashto acknowledge himbull The Parable of the Talents then comes after the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 251ndash13) Both parables have the theme of acting now in preparation for whatrsquos to come And what is to come The nationrsquos downfallbull It is not all dire news howeverbull Throughout the Gospel Jesus has been gathering a new people of God around himselfmdasha remnant whose faith in him will enable them to survive as the people of God beyond the downfall of the nation These are people who repent in the face of the coming Kingdom of

God (Matthew 417) They listen to Jesusrsquo words and as it were build their house on a rock rather than on sand (Matthew 724ndash27)bull When the future storm comes to pound the nation theirs is the house that will survive The storm was the catastrophe of 70 CE in which the nation fell and its ldquohouserdquo (ie the temple) was left desolate (Matthew 2338)bull In the Parable of the Talents we are not told the reason why the master departs and leaves his property in the keeping of his slaves If we removed the parable from its context we might suppose he went on a business trip But the whole surrounding context is one of doombull It is more in keeping with the tense atmosphere of this end of the Gospel if the master were actually heading away on affairs of state or a military endeavor Notice that as soon as Jesus finishes the parable he discusses the Son of Man coming in all his glory to judge the

nations (Matthew 2531ndash32) There is a clear parallel here just as the master comes to settle affairs with his slaves so the Son of Man comes to judge the nations In both cases the master figure returns in triumph By implication his absence is a time of tension and uncertainty

bull This helps explain the actions of the third slave in the Parable of the Talentsbull He buries the money allotted to him because this is what many did in a time of war This is just what the ancient owner of the bronze coins discovered under the highway in Israel did as Jerusalem was falling to the Romans in 70 CEmdashthe very event Jesus had in mindbull The slaversquos actions in the parable however are not just lazy but also evil (Matthew 2526) Why Because he evidently didnrsquot think his master would succeed in his endeavors and return If he had thought so he would have put the money allocated to him to good use for

the sake of his masterbull The other two slaves in the parable evidently had confidence in their masterrsquos returnmdashenough to risk the danger of flaunting money in wartime Civilians in the ancient world often hid their resources to prevent harassment and pillage by soldiers That these two slaves not

only put the money to good use but even made a return suggests not merely their economic savvy but also their bravery and loyalty in the face of adverse circumstancesbull The third slave however does no such thing By burying the money he tries to keep out of danger in the hope of riding out the current adversity surviving his master and then taking the money for himself The masterrsquos unexpected return however puts paid to this

servants plans exposing him as a faithless coward The master is not angry with this slave because he expected more money from the slave to feed his greed He is angry because the slave has been disloyal lacking faith in his master and seeking to take advantage of his absence for personal gain

bull In the larger context of the Gospel this parable is an indictment on the Jewish leadersmdashthose to whom much was given They are characterized as disloyal towards God They had turned the temple a house of prayer into a banditrsquos lair (Matthew 2112ndash13) They failed to show the fruit that was expected of them (Matthew 2118ndash22) They rejected Jesus the master figure in order to feather their own nests This would however be a profitless endeavor for it would end with their demise Only those who placed their confidence in Jesus would survive the coming adversity and live to share their masterrsquos joy

bull We have no way of knowing whether the person who buried the money found under the highway in Israel was a master or a slave Nonetheless the cache of coins demonstrates the currency (excuse the pun) of the imagery Jesus used to decry the leadership of his day and foretell the calamitous events of 70 CEmdashthe very events that led the person to bury that money in the hope of returning some day to collect it

bull Unfortunately that person never returned

bullThe Conventional War of the Tribulation mdash Revelation 6

bull By the time you get to Revelation 6 the Tribulation has begun The Tribulation does not begin with the Rapture of the Church so there could be months or even years between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation It will probably be several months to a year No the Tribulation begins when the Antichrist signs a treaty with Israel that allows them to rebuild their templebull When the treaty is signed you can count down to the day when Jesus Christ is going to come at the Second Coming Thatrsquos one of the reasons I know theres a difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming for the Rapture could occur at any moment When the Bible says you cannot know when the Lords returning that refers to the Rapture because we know when the Lords Second Coming is going to occur Its

going to occur exactly seven years from the date that the treaty is signed It even tells us in the book of Revelation how many days that will be until the Lord comes So if you were here during the Tribulation you could calculate exactly seven years until the Lords going to comebull The Antichrist is going to come to power out of the European Union Daniel says he will get power through cunning deception and his charismatic personality I think hes going to use all those things to take over the European Unionbull But let me tell you something once he takes over it doesnt matter how much charisma he has hes not going to turn to the world quite yet and say Come and worship me The world would say hes nuts because they havent spent the last 250 years getting out from underneath European colonialism to suddenly turn around and say to a European ruler Come rule us South America is not going to do that and neither is

Asia Theyre going to declare theyve had enough of European colonialism Were not going to let you rule us And so what happens is that as soon as the Antichrist comes to power were told in Revelation 6 that he launches a war to conquer the world Its a conventional war which you can read a description of in Revelation 6bull In the process of that war the Antichrist will be responsible for slaughtering 15 billion people on planet earth Revelation 6 says that one-fourth of humanity will die Today we have close to seven billion people on planet earth Lets say a billion of those are taken out in the Rapture Thats only going to leave six billion left here on this earth One-fourth of six billion is 15 billion people that are going to die in this initial warbull

The Nuclear War of the Tribulation mdash Revelation 8 amp 9bull Revelation chapters 8 and 9 explains how the Conventional War begins to morph into a nuclear war It talks about how suddenly one-third of the earth is burned up Jesus Himself said in the end times that men will faint from fear from the terrors that will come upon the world The war will morph into nuclear weaponsbull People need to realize that when mankind begins to rebel against God God steps back and He lowers the hedge of protection Read Romans 1 where it says that if theres no repentance God steps back and lowers the hedge of protection Romans also says that a third time Hell stand back and lower it turning the people over to a depraved mind Basically what Hes saying is if you want to live that way I will let you live that

way and I will stop giving you any protection whatsoever Ill let evil take its course Thats whats going to happen during the Great Tribulation Gods just going to step back and man is going to begin to use those weapons that have been restrained up to that timebull Revelation tell us us that another one-third of humanity will die during that period Thats another 15 billion people By the middle of the Tribulation the book of Revelation teaches that one-half of the population of the world will be dead Thats 3 billion peoplebull I have preachers sometimes call me and ask Do you think we are living in the Tribulation I say If we were in the Tribulation you wouldnt have to call anybody and ask them You will know it if you are living in the Tribulationbull I dont plan to be here for the Tribulation People will know if they are still here for the Tribulation because the death toll is going to be beyond anything in human history Jesus said that if He didnt stop it all mankind would cease to exist The only reason anybody is going to live through the Tribulation is because He is going to bring it to an end With those kinds of numbers you know its going to be that terriblebull

bullThe Only War They Know

bull Most people have heard of only one war of the end times what is normally referred to as the Battle of Armageddon But the Bible speaks of nine end time wars I want to talk to you about the final battles of the end timesbull Every time a war breaks out over in Israel without exception Lamb amp Lion Ministries gets calls and email messages all asking Is this the Battle of Armageddon The reason for that is because most people are only familiar with one battle of the end times and thats the Battle of Armageddon So every time a war breaks out people want to know Is this the Battle of Armageddonbull Most people know the name Armageddon even people in the secular world Weve had movies named Armageddon Secular writers talk about how we are in the time of Armageddon and on and on it goesbull What I want to point out to you is that I believe that Bible prophecy mentions nine wars in the end times and only one of them is the Battle of Armageddon As youre going to find out the Battle of Armageddon is really no battle at allbull Lets take a look for a moment at what those wars are that are prophesied to happen in the end timesbull

The First War of Gog amp Magog mdash Ezekiel 38 and 39bull The end time war that most people talk about is found in Ezekiel 38 and 39 mdash the War of Gog and Magog Theres a man who has written a lot recently about this His name is Joel Rosenberg Hes a very fine writer and a great fiction writer He is also a student of Bible prophecy and truly loves the subject Ive been with him on several podiums which weve shared at conferences Ive got to know him well and hes really a

great guybull Joel Rosenberg is the one who has really popularized the idea that the next major prophetic war will be Ezekiel 38 and 39 But I think hes wrong about that because Ezekiel 38 and 39 says that it will occur at a time when Israel is living in peace and without walls In truth Israel is not living in peace today Its certainly is not living without walls It has a wall that runs the entire length of the country By the time it does all it

zigzags the wall runs 400 miles long In some places its more of a scientific wall in the sense a technological wall because if you cross it sets off all kinds of alarms In other places its a big tall wall The walls been necessary to stop terrorists from coming into Israel Its been extremely effective in stopping them And so Israel is not living in peace right nowbull Another thing that is interesting about the Ezekiel 38 and 39 War is it says that its going to be an invasion led by Russia with certain specified allies All the allies are specified and all of them are Muslim states today The thing that is most interesting is not one single nation thats mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 has a common border with Israel So it begs the question Why is it that none of the states that have a common

border with Israel are mentionedbull

The War of Extermination mdash Psalm 83bull The person who has come up with an answer for that question in recent years is a man named Bill Salus who is a good personal friend of mine Bill wrote a book called Isralestine In his book he states that the first war of the end times in Bible prophecy is the War of Psalm 83bull If you read that Psalm and its a short psalm it talks about the fact that all the Arab states in the end times will get together and say Now is the time for us to annihilate the State of Israel So we call it the Psalm 83 War of Annihilationbull An interesting fact about Psalm 83 is that it names the nations that are going to come against Israel and every nation it names is one that has a common boundary with Israel today Those names are Gaza Jordan Lebanon Egypt and Syria They are the ones that come against Israel to annihilate it as Psalm 83 foretells I think the Psalm 83 War is going to be the next great war in the Middle Eastbull Something interesting about Psalm 83 is that it doesnt tell who wins the war but we know who wins it because Zechariah 12 says in the end times one of the miracles that God is going to perform is that Israel will have one of the greatest military forces in the world As you know Israel is one of the smallest countries in the world but it is always ranked in the top four in terms of military power Many rank it number one in

the effective use of its powerbull I think that probably the first war of the end times in prophecy is going to be the Psalm 83 War Thats when the nations that have a common boundary with Israel will come against and try to destroy Israel I also think that is most likely when Damascus will be destroyed because two times in the Old Testament we are told that Damascus will cease to exist in the end timesbull The Syrians have highly sophisticated missiles They could put a missile right down the smokestack of any building in Tel Aviv if they wanted to and they are only shooting them 125 miles not thousands of miles Syria also has all kinds of chemical weapons If they were to attack Tel Aviv with chemical weapons probably the only way the Israelis would be able to defend themselves is to use one of their tactical nuclear

weapons to blow up the city of Damascus So it could very well be that that very first war of the end times is the one in which Damascus will cease to existbull The Psalm 83 War is a war between Israel and all the inner circle of Muslim States that have a common boundary with Israel I think thats going to be the first warbull That makes the second war of the end times the one described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 when Russia comes down with certain specified Muslim allies Those countries form an outer ring None of them have a single common border with Israelbull I think what will happen is in the first war Israel will conquer all the states around it and will finally have peace At that point the Muslim world will turn to its natural ally Russia The Russians will come smiling from ear to ear because theyve always wanted to dominate the Middle East What they really want is not so much the annihilation of Israel as much as they want access to all the Arab oil fieldsbull The Arabs will invite the Russians in and surely theyll come But the great horde of invaders will all be destroyed supernaturally upon the hills of Israel They wont be destroyed by the Israeli Defense Forces like in the first war of Psalm 83 This time God will personally provide the victory and Hell do it in such a way that even the people of Israel will realize that God did itbull The result of Gods victory is that many of the Jewish people will begin to believe I also think that includes many of our tour guides who have heads full of Scripture but hearts that are cold to the Gospel they will suddenly see God intervene and deliver the nation of Israel Boom Theyre eyes will be openedbull To summarize the first prophetic end times war is going to be the Psalm 83 War and the next one will be the Ezekiel 38 and 39 War but we dont know when these are going to occur Theres lots of debate among prophecy scholars as to when they will occur Some think its going to occur in the middle of the Tribulation while some at the beginning of the Tribulation Some think it will start before the Tribulationbull I tend to think these two wars are going to start before the Tribulation because Ezekiel talks about the fact that when the Gog-Magog War is over the Israelis are going to spend seven years cleaning up the battle field We know that in the middle of the Tribulation the Antichrist is going to run the Jews out of the country They are not going to be there to clean up the battle field after that Thats why I think most likely the war

of Ezekiel 38 and 39 will start 35 years before the Tribulation begins Israel therefore will finish cleaning up the battlefields in the middle of the Tribulationbull
