Love and Loneliness
by:
Linda J. Hutchinson
What does
"true love”really
mean?
Is it needing, touching, is it felt or is it seen?
Could it be devotion or destiny that touches the heart?
If "true" it's a promise of always,
‘til death do us part.
Loneliness is empty arms that close around no one,
Oh how you ache for someone to hold.
Alone makes each passing hour seem
endless.
It drains your spirit, like sleepless nights and
winter cold.
Love is having someone to laugh with,
Sometimes it's someone to hold you when you cry,
It is the feeling of another persons heartbeat,
This joined happiness,
you never want to die.
Loneliness hurts when you are in bed alone,
If you have no one near and
dear, you wonder what
to do.
You desperately need someone
to be with to share your dreams,
how you long to hear and say the words, I love you.
True love is a special feeling that warms your
heart and soul,
It's magic and serenity as one, no
one can explain.
Loneliness is a sad heart with a dead empty spot,
Love is a happy heart that's full, when two people feel the same.
