Leviticus 18:22 (NASB)“You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

Hebrews 11:6 (NASB)“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”

Job 2:4-6Satan answered the LORD and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. However, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face.” So the LORD said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

Ephesians 2:16“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

There was a boundary to what Job had to endure: “only spare his life” –God

Where was the limit with Lazarus? That boundary can reach right into the grave. For a Christian, to be absent from the body is

to be present with the Lord.

John 12:9-11“The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead. But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also; because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.”

Yours? Mine? Or God’s?

Not only is it God’s opinion that counts, but God has given us His opinion!

Luke 6:46“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:”

John 13:13-15“You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.”

Matthew 18:21-22“Then Peter came and said to Him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Matthew 18:34“And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him.”

Page 15: Lost "Christians"

Matthew 18:35“My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”

Why does Jesus say this? Because He would be hanging on a cross in

the not-to-distant future, forgiving Peter from His heart!

Colossians 2:13-14“When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”

Revelation 3:20“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”
