ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿ ਆਕਾਿ ਆਰਿ ਰਿਿਗੁਿ ਸਿਗੁਿ ਏਕ ॥He Himself is Beyond all Form (Nirinkar), and also in all Form; the One is beyond the qualities and with in the qualities.

ਏਕਰਿ ਏਕ ਬਖਾਿਿੋ ਿਾਿਕ ਏਕ ਅਿੇਕ ॥੧॥ Describe the One Lord as One,

and Only One; O Nanak, He is the One, and the many. ||1||

ਿਉੜੀ ॥ Pauree:

ਓਅੰ ਗੁਿਮੁਰਖ ਕੀਓ ਅਕਾਿਾ ॥ ONG: from the Guru’s mouth

came every thing was created with form.

ਏਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਤ੍ ਿਿੋਵਿਿਾਿਾ ॥ He strung it upon His one thread.

ਰ ੰਿ ਰ ੰਿ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਰਬਸਥਾਿੰ ॥ He created the diverse expanse

of the three qualities.

ਰਿਿਗੁਿ ਤ੍ੇ ਸਿਗੁਿ ਰਰਰਸਟਾਿੰ ॥ Without qualities He

appeared with all qualites.

ਸਗਲ ਾਰਤ੍ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਿ ਉਿਾਇਓ ॥ The Creator has created the creation of all

sorts.

ਜਿਮ ਮਿਿ ਮਿ ਮੋਿੁ ਬਢਾਇਓ ॥ The attachment of the mind has led to birth

and death.

ਰੁਿੂ ਾਰਤ੍ ਤ੍ੇ ਆਰਿ ਰਿਿਾਿਾ ॥ He Himself is above both, untouched and

unaffected.

ਿਾਿਕ ਅੰਤ੍ੁ ਿ ਿਾਿਾਵਾਿਾ ॥੨॥ O Nanak, He has no end or limitation. ||2||

ਮਾਿੂ ਮਿਲਾ ੩ ॥ Maaroo, Third Mehl:

ਰਿਿੰਕਾਰਿ ਆਕਾਿੁ ਉਿਾਇਆ ॥ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਿੁ ਿੁਕਰਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥ The Formless Lord created the universe of form.

By the Hukam of His Command, He created attachment to Maya.

ਆਿੇ ਖੇਲ ਕਿੇ ਸਰ ਕਿਤ੍ਾ ਸੁਰਣ ਸਾਚਾ ਮੰਰਿ ਵਸਾਇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਾਈ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਿਿਸੂਰਤ੍ ਜਮਾਇਆ ॥ ਚਾਿੇ ਬੇਰ ਬਰਿਮੇ ਿੋ ਫੁਿਮਾਇਆ ॥ ਵਿਹੇ ਮਾਿ ਵਾਿ ਰਥਤ੍ੀ ਕਰਿ ਇਸੁ ਜਗ ਮਰਿ ਸੋਝੀ ਿਾਇਰਾ ॥੨॥ The Creator Himself stages all the plays; hearing of the True Lord, enshrine Him in your mind. ||1|| Maya, the mother, gave birth to the three gunas, the three qualities, and proclaimed the four Vedas to Brahma. Creating the years, months, days and dates, He infused intelligence into the world. ||2||

ਸਿਗੁਿ ਰਿਿਗੁਿ ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿ ਸੁੰ ਿ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਆਰਿ ॥ He possesses all qualities; He transcends all qualities; He is the Formless Lord. He Himself is in Sunn Samaadh.

ਆਿਿ ਕੀਆ ਿਾਿਕਾ ਆਿੇ ਿੀ ਰਫਰਿ ਜਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ Through His Creation, O Nanak, He meditates on Himself. ||1||

ਆਰਰ ਮਰਧ ਅੰਰਤ੍ ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿੰ ॥ In the beginning, in the middle, and end, He is the Formless Lord.

ਜਰਿ ਮਿ ਿਰਿ ਰਿਿੰਜਿੁ ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿਾ ॥ Meditate, O mind, on the immaculate, formless Lord.

ਵਾਿੁ ਵਾਿੁ ਸਰਤ੍ਗੁਿੁ ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿੁ ਿੈ ਰਜਸੁ ਅੰਤ੍ੁ ਿ ਿਾਿਾਵਾਿੁ ॥ Waaho! Waaho! Blessed and Great is the Formless True Guru, who has no end or limitation.

ਸਬਰੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਏ ਰਿਿੰਕਾਿੀ ॥ Contemplating the Shabad, we become Nirankaari - we come to belong to the Formless Lord God.
