All sins begin with lies, they don’t want to admit what they don’t know.
They sell themselves out and to face the consequences.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਪਟੁ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅਰਿਆਨੀ ਿਸਨਾ ਝੂਠੁ ਬੋਲਾਇ ॥ Within the ignorant self-willed manmukh is deception; with his tongue, he speaks lies.
ਕਪਰਟ ਕੀਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਿਖੁ ਨ ਭੀਜੈ ਰਨਤ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥ Practicing deception, he does not please the Lord God, who always sees and hears with natural ease.
ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਜਾਇ ਜਿੁ ਪਿਬਧੋੈ ਰਬਖੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਸੁਆਇ ॥ In the love of duality, he goes to instruct the world, but he is engrossed in the poison of Maya and attachment to pleasure.
ਇਤੁ ਕਮਾਣੈ ਸਦਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਜੰਮੈ ਮਿੈ ਰਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ By doing so, he suffers in constant pain; he is born and then dies, and comes and goes again and again.
ਸਹਸਾ ਮੂਰਲ ਨ ਚੁਕਈ ਰਵਰਚ ਰਵਸਟਾ ਪਚੈ ਪਚਾਇ ॥ His doubts do not leave him at all, and he rots away in manure.
The biggest lie is there are no Joons.
They lie about this because they don’t believe in God.
What is a Joon?
There are 4 ways you can be born
Womb, Egg, Seed, Sweat.
ਅੰਡਜ ਜੇਿਜ ਉਤਭੁਜਾਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਸੇਤਜਾਂਹ ॥
The four sources of creation - born of eggs, born of the womb, born of the earth and born of sweat;
What goes through the Joons is the mind.

ਖਾਕ ਨੂਿ ਕਿਦੰ ਆਲਮ ਦੁਨੀਆਇ ॥
The Lord infused His Light into the dust, and created the world, the universe.
ਅਸਮਾਨ ਰਜਮੀ ਦਿਖਤ ਆਬ ਪੈਦਾਇਰਸ ਖੁਦਾਇ ॥੧॥
The sky, the earth, the trees, and the water - all are the Creation of the Lord. ||1||
ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਦੂਖਰਨ ਸਿਪ ਜੋਰਨ ਪਾਇ ॥ Slandering the Saints, one is reincarnated as a snake.
ਸੰਤ ਕੈ ਦੂਖਰਨ ਰਤਿਿਦ ਜੋਰਨ ਰਕਿਮਾਇ ॥ Slandering the Saints, one is reincarnated as a wiggling worm.
Each life has a mind.
ਕਾਲੀ ਕੋਇਲ ਤੂ ਰਕਤ ਿੁਨ ਕਾਲੀ ॥ O black bird, what qualities have made you black? ਅਪਨੇ ਪਿੀਤਮ ਕੇ ਹਉ ਰਬਿਹੈ ਜਾਲੀ ॥ "I have been burnt by separation from my Beloved."
ਰਪਿਰਹ ਰਬਹਨੂ ਕਤਰਹ ਸਖੁੁ ਪਾਏ ॥ Without her Husband Lord, how can the soul-bride ever find peace? ਜਾ ਹੋਇ ਰਕਿਪਾਲੁ ਤਾ ਪਿਭੂ ਰਮਲਾਏ ॥੨॥ When He becomes merciful, then God unites us with Himself. ||2||
ਅਜੂਨੀ
Waheguru is beyond Joons, that is why a person can not be God.
Only their mind can be God.
ਸੰਕਰਟ ਨਹੀ ਪਿੈ ਜੋਰਨ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਨਿੰਜਨ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਿੇ ॥ He does not fall into misfortune, and He does not take birth; His Name is the Immaculate Lord.
ਕਬੀਿ ਕੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਐਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਿੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਾਈ ਨ ਬਾਪੋ ਿੇ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੭੦॥ Kabeer's Lord is such a Lord and Master, who has no mother or father. ||2||19||70||
ਸਿਲ ਪਿਾਧ ਦੇਰਹ ਲੋਿੋਨੀ ॥ You sing lullabyes to your stone god - this is the source of all your mistakes.
ਸੋ ਮੁਖ ੁਜਲਉ ਰਜਤੁ ਕਹਰਹ ਠਾਕੁਿੁ ਜੋਨੀ ॥੩॥ Let that mouth be burnt, which says that our Lord and Master is subject to birth. ||3||
ਜਨਰਮ ਨ ਮਿੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ He is not born, and He does not die; He does not come and go in reincarnation.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਪਿਭੁ ਿਰਹਓ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥੧॥ The God of Nanak is pervading and permeating everywhere. ||4||1||
Why are we in the Joons?
There would be no Sargun.
Attachment to Maya/Ego.
ਓਅੰ ਿੁਿਮੁਰਖ ਕੀਓ ਅਕਾਿਾ ॥ ONG: The One Universal Creator created the Creation through the Word of the Primal Guru.
ਏਕਰਹ ਸੂਰਤ ਪਿੋਵਨਹਾਿਾ ॥ He strung it upon His one thread.
ਰਭੰਨ ਰਭੰਨ ਤਿੈ ਿੁਣ ਰਬਸਥਾਿੰ ॥ He created the diverse expanse of the three qualities.
ਰਨਿਿੁਨ ਤੇ ਸਿਿੁਨ ਰਦਿਸਟਾਿੰ ॥ From formless, He appeared as form.
ਸਿਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਹ ਉਪਾਇਓ ॥ The Creator has created the creation of all sorts.
ਜਨਮ ਮਿਨ ਮਨ ਮੋਹੁ ਬਢਾਇਓ ॥ The attachment of the mind has led to birth and death.
ਦੁਹੂ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਆਰਪ ਰਨਿਾਿਾ ॥ He Himself is above both, untouched and unaffected.
ਨਾਨਕ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਿਾਵਾਿਾ ॥੨॥ O Nanak, He has no end or limitation. ||2||
ਹਉਮੈ ਏਹਾ ਜਾਰਤ ਹੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਿਮ ਕਮਾਰਹ ॥ This is the nature of ego, that people perform their actions in ego.
ਹਉਮੈ ਏਈ ਬੰਧਨਾ ਰਿਰਿ ਰਿਰਿ ਜੋਨੀ ਪਾਰਹ ॥ This is the bondage of ego, that time and time again, they are reborn.
ਹਉਮੈ ਰਕਥਹੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਰਕਤੁ ਸੰਜਰਮ ਇਹ ਜਾਇ ॥ Where does ego come from? How can it be removed?
ਹਉਮੈ ਏਹੋ ਹਕੁਮੁ ਹੈ ਪਇਐ ਰਕਿਰਤ ਰਿਿਾਰਹ ॥ This ego exists by the Lord's Order; people wander according to their past actions.
ਹਉਮੈ ਦੀਿਘ ਿਿੋੁ ਹੈ ਦਾਿੂ ਭੀ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਰਹ ॥ Ego is a chronic disease, but it contains its own cure as well.
ਰਕਿਪਾ ਕਿੇ ਜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾ ਿੁਿ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਰਹ ॥ If the Lord grants His Grace, one acts according to the Teachings of the Guru's Shabad.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਸਣੁਹ ੁਜਨਹੁ ਇਤੁ ਸੰਜਰਮ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਰਹ ॥੨॥ Nanak says, listen, people: in this way, troubles depart. ||2||
How many Joons are there.
ਜੋ ਆਵਰਹ ਸੇ ਜਾਰਹ ਿੁਰਨ ਆਇ ਿਏ ਪਛੁਤਾਰਹ ॥ Those who come, must go in the end; they come and go, regretting and repenting.
ਲਖ ਚਉਿਾਸੀਹ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਘਟੈ ਨ ਵਧੈ ਉਤਾਰਹ ॥ They will pass through 8.4 millions species; this number does not decrease or rise.
ਲਖ ਚਉਿਾਸੀਹ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ॥
The 8.4 million species of beings issued forth from You.
ਲਖ ਚਉਿਾਸੀਹ ਜੋਰਨ ਸਬਾਈ ॥ Out of all the 8.4 million species of beings, ਮਾਣਸ ਕਉ ਪਿਰਭ ਦੀਈ ਵਰਡਆਈ ॥ God blessed mankind with glory. ਇਸੁ ਪਉੜੀ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਨਿ ੁਚਕੂੈ ਸੋ ਆਇ ਜਾਇ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥੨॥ That human who misses this chance, shall suffer the pains of coming and going in reincarnation. ||2||

ਬਇਆਲੀਸ ਲਖ ਜੀ ਜਲ ਮਰਹ ਹੋਤ ੇਬੀਠਲੁ ਭੈਲਾ ਕਾਇ ਕਿਉ ॥੧॥
But 4.2 million species of beings are in the water - how can I use it for the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny? ||1||
How do you break the Joons.
Stop thoughts merge in God.
ਰਨਿੰਕਾਿ ਮਰਹ ਆਕਾਿੁ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥ One who merges his form into the Formless Lord, ਅਕਲ ਕਲਾ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਰਚ ਰਟਕਾਵੈ ॥ Abides in the True Lord, the Powerful, beyond power. ਸੋ ਨਿੁ ਿਿਭ ਜੋਰਨ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ॥੪॥ Such a person does not enter into the womb of reincarnation again. ||4||
Who was the first Human to break the Joons?
ਚਉਿਾਸੀ ਲਖ ਰਿਿੈ ਰਦਵਾਨਾਂ ॥ His beings wander insanely through 8.4 million incarnations.
ਬਾਬਾ ਆਦਮ ਕਉ ਰਕਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਰਦਖਾਈ ॥ He bestowed His Grace on Adam, the father of mankind,
What is so bad about Joons.
It means you do not love Yourself or God.
ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਿੁ ਕਹੈ ਜਨੁ ਸਾਚਾ ॥
One who contemplates the essence of reality, is said to be the true person.
ਜਨਰਮ ਮਿੈ ਸੋ ਕਾਚੋ ਕਾਚਾ ॥
Birth and death are the lot of the false and the insincere.
Why people don’t believe in Joons?
ਇਕਨਾ ਮਨਮੁਰਖ ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਭਾਵੈ ਬੰਧਰਨ ਬੰਰਧ ਭਵਾਇਆ ॥ Some are self-willed manmukhs; they do not love the Word of the Shabad. Bound in chains, they wander lost in reincarnation.
ਲਖ ਚਉਿਾਸੀਹ ਰਿਰਿ ਰਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਰਬਿਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਿਵਾਇਆ ॥੪॥ Through 8.4 million lifetimes, they wander over and over again; they waste away their lives in vain. ||4||
You have to do Simran to meet God. This is the purpose of your life.
ਪਿਭ ਕ ੈਰਸਮਿਰਨ ਿਿਰਭ ਨ ਬਸੈ ॥
Remembering God, one does not have to enter into the womb again.
