From the terraces citizens follow

like observers,

Our lives as citizens continues as

ever,

infects the citizens,

Political choices are made in

Decency is suspended as matters

are brazen,

Opinion polls spew confusion

without abate,

Electoral processes and structures

the IEBC doth arrange,

Churches call on believers on their

knees to pray,

For candidates and the election

process each day,

That God would establish His one

and only way,

We shun the counsel of those who

spite,

We disconnect ourselves from they

that ignite,

In the political darkness, we are

the light of the world,

Where there is bad taste, we are

the salt of the earth,

For emotional injuries, we are the

healing balm of wrath,

diverse,

Our spiritual destiny is the

reverse,

Our source of identity created the

universe,

Place our kingdom above

democracy in that order,

we are laden,
