JESUS

Son of God

“This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased!”

Matthew 3:17

While he lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in pain and wept in sorrow as he offered up prayers to God.

Hebrews 5:7-8

Because he honored God, God answered him. Though he was God’s Son, he learned

trusting-obedience by what he suffered, just as we do.

It is the beauty of God, who created all things for his glory, to make the Pioneer of our salvation perfect

through his sufferings, for this is how he brings God’s

many sons and daughters to share in

his glory. Hebrews 2:10

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were

happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for

these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 1 Peter 4:12-13

We look away from the natural realm and

we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who

birthed faith within us and who leads us

forward into faith’s perfection.

Hebrews 12:2

His example is this: Because his heart was filled with the joy of

knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and

conquered its humiliation, and now

sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of

God.Hebrews 12:3

For it was always in the Father’s perfect plan to

adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the

Anointed One, so that his tremendous grace that cascades over us would bring him glory~for the same love he has for his

Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us!

Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—

He calls us children of God!

It’s true~ we are His beloved children!
